'24 MS WR JJ Harrell (Mississippi State commit)

I think he wanted to feel like THE marquee recruit wherever he committed to. He was never going to get that kind of attention from our fanbase with who we have the possibility of landing. He was most likely always going to be the third best recruit (at best) at his position alone in this class. For Mississippi State's fanbase, he is a huge puzzle piece. Good for him and them. He likely would have been a portal entry here if he wasn't THE guy by year two.
 
I think teams really cooled on him coming off injury. Miss St may have been the only other one with a spot for him in the SEC.
No. A lot of SEC schools would've taken him. Tennessee would've liked to keep him but there's too many good receivers on our board for us to put up with all the recruitment drama from one player there
 
Sooo, about that commitment...

He doesn't seem like a guy we'd pursue, I suppose, at this point.
