I think he started the season still recovering from injury then after seeing how it was going decided to redshirt and transfer. I asked around to confirm.

Per friend in Starkville: "I think he's not happy with playing time. He saw the field some but didn't record a catch. Not surprised to see a WR transfer but don't love it was a 4-star. Analysts are saying he won't but I expect he will go to Oxford."

Kid is from Sardis which is about 45min to Oxford. Also, Miss State brought in 8 WRs through HS and portal last year with 3 more coming this year. Harrell wasn't as good as he thought he was I guess and is sunk on the depth chart.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to Oxford or Memphis.
