the wii is not bad at all. it may get a bad rap from hardcore gamers who want depth in a console, but i would say most that bash it have never even played it enough to ammount to anything. it definately doesn't compare to the 360 or PS3. i don't think nintendo cares. it appeals to a much wider group of people than the other 2 systems thus it sells way more.

yeah I got the kids a Wii when school let out..very fun..love the wii sports..wife is trying to find the wii fit..but they're going for outragous amounts on ebay and nowhere to be found in the local stores here

My brother owns a Wii. It's a gimmick, that's why it sells. Being a fan of pre-Wii Nintendo, I hate the Wii.
