Really cool story about him committing on his visit coming out today.

White breaks down how and when he committed to Tennessee​

Mississippi State received the final official visit, but White went into that trip committed to the Vols. On the first day of his official visit, he gave Josh Heupel the news.

“Before the official visit, earlier in that week, coach Heupel and I talked about playing basketball on the visit,” White said. “Coach Heupel was joking, and he told me that if he beats me, I have to commit. When I got there, coach Heupel was already in the gym getting warmed up. I knew he was serious.
“We started playing around the world and I knew I wasn’t going to try that much. He was hot and wasn’t missing a shot. He ended up beating me and I kept my promise and committed. I committed to him right there on the basketball court.

“During my whole visit to Tennessee, I was already committed to them. Coach Heupel was so excited.”
