Question to those of you who think he did it on purpose. What was he trying to accomplish if he did it on purpose. We were not going to snap the ball. If we didn’t snap the ball they were not going to remeasure for the 1st down so what would be have accomplished. Some people see conspiracies in everything. As another posted said we were trying to go fast to draw them off and Kennedy moved the ball.

The entire offense was in on the charade of moving the ball forward. Happy we won but we do it the right way and they tried their best to cheat to get a win. Why was that necessary?
We won and y’all got to find something to complain about lol this is the best you can come up with? How about only giving 70 yards up in the first half and only being up 3? At least that is legitimate. FWIW, I’m not complaining, ugly or not a W still goes in the column just the same.

You can not pick crappy calls all game long. That happens every game. This doesn’t is the only reason it was brought up. It was a big discussion at my home so I thought it was worthy. Better than another JG better not start next year post.

Well, this was nothing...

That actually sounds quite relaxing. I mean if you’re into that kind of stuff, which I’m clearly not.
😒
GBO!!
I enjoy a good bath and book. I also enjoy football, basketball,( baseball sucks) hunting, gun collecting, owning a construction company and long walks on the beach while sipping champagne.

little difference there buddy. One is a game, the other a covenant. Can’t really compare the two.
I guess the lol didn’t say it so I will. It was a joke bud. Sorry to cause an issue over a marriage post. That stuff is saved for the Pub.

What benefit would there have been to doing this on purpose?
Not sure. But watch the video posted above yours. Center puts his hand down to mark the spot for the others to setup on. The guard is crawling up until he sees the spot. He then moves the ball.
Not sure why but it was intentional. And maybe it happens all the time and maybe this time it was just over done. But I’ve never seen it more obvious.

It’s almost never called. Moving the ball by the center happens almost on every play.

Do you mean in our particular situation, or just in general?

Assuming we were just trying to draw them offsides there isn't any benefit, but generally it's basically stealing a foot or two and it happens all the time. I'm kind of surprised it doesn't get called more.

Sure it does. But not 16” it doesn’t. That’s my only point. It happened and I’m not sure what was to gain but it was intentional.

I was meaning in our situation. No way we were going to snap it.

It doesn’t usually happen........that way (not too sure if I have ever seen it happen like that).

I don’t even care.....it became a penalty and Tennessee won anyway.
