Looks like a strong likelihood that we could move up to 22nd nationally and 8th in the conference on Wednesday with the expected commitment of Johnson, don't want to jinx things but very proud of Coach Pruitt and this staff.

Everyone better hold onto their drawers in 2018 as this staff appears to be aggressive and relentless. I am liking what i am seeing so far. .....

should also point out if we would have been fortunate enough to have kept Mays and Horn committed we would be sitting at 14th in the nation and near tied for 4th in the conference.

We are not that far off imho.

As Nelly once said, it took a whole lot of trying, just to get up that hill, I said but now we're up in the big leagues.

I also like our recruits better than Florida's right now. Looks like most of their class are safeties :) they have 4 in their class so far.

Nice positivity on this Christmas Eve, OP. I'm hoping for a top 15 finish on the final NSD. Regardless...Merry Christmas everyone!

I like what I'm seeing as well. But the same excitement was all around when Butch landed a top 5 class. Not Being negative but I'm just going to wait and see. Been fooled to many times to fall for that again. It seems a lot of fans are getting to excited to fast none of this matters if we don't win games.I will scream and shout in September. Or be depressed

Don't let some of the people that's sure he is going to fail hear this. It will break their hearts.
Recruiting is only part of the equation. It remains to be seen if this rookie staff can develop players and be effective on gameday.

Another 3 star? Where are the 4s and 5s?

He is a 3 / 4 star - or a 4/3 star offensive linemen and he passes the eyeball test. I have not seen film of him, but he has three to play 3 which is always good.

There is actually projection software on one of the sites that updates your recruiting rankings by adding Mr. Johnson. If it happened today ( and he did commit to us like the crystal balls seem to suggest), instead of Wednesday we would be ranked 22nd today.

We are so dang thin at so many spots. My Christmas wish is to finish off strong and to hold these guys on campus. The Butch recruiting was good, but the defections of skilled players, over a period of time, leaves us churning with depth issues.

Be careful! Remember that Dooley immediately recruited Da Rick & Hunter. We were all optimistic
