Speaking of Vince Vaughan....I wish he'd do more serious movies to show his talent. Couple of years back, I caught a movie he was in where he was a serial killer. It was really intense & he showed a very nasty side to acting of which we don't get to see from him much if at all.

I don't remember the movie's name. I was going through channels one day about 4 years ago & it was on a channel like TBS or TNT. The movie was already about half way through. But what I did see of it was pretty good. Vince wore a cowboy hat in the movie.

After I googled it yes, that's it. The year of it's release was 1998 and it's a crime-comedy film. The only thing is I didn't see any comedy in the film.

I feel that Vince Vaughan, Adam Sandler, Owen Wilson, Ben Stiller, and Jim Carrey have drowned themselves out, especially Adam Sandler. His movies just aren't funny anymore.

Agreed on Sandler. He was great on SNL, really good in most of his movies in the 90s, and then it went downhill fast. I find Vince Vaughan to be hilarious in most of his roles. I can take or leave Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller, and Carrey is past his prime.

Just watched 12 Years A Slave. Didn't care for it at all. I am in line w Armond White's critique of it. Belongs more in the torture porn category than it does in the context of any meaningful conversation on race.

Domestic Disturbance isn't a great movie, but VV was a good villain in that.
