I agree. I Saw the Devil was an incredibly great film and Choi Min-sik's acting was very realistic compared to Old Boy. The directors, the actors, camera crews, and especially casting all did a superb job.
Other Korean films I really liked are The Man from Nowhere, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance (part of Park Chan-wook's revenge trilogy that included Old Boy), and I thought Snowy Road was very good even though it's the saddest I ever felt from a film.
