:good!: Nice I know rankings aren't everything but it does get your team attention in the National Media which hopefully helps get attention from recruits.

Not to mention it sure does give us as fans something to get excited about!!! :clapping:

still have five sec teams ahead of us... must destroy them...

Looking at the Rivals rating I couldn't help but notice South Carolina and LSU were ahead of us. The only difference is we show 15 recruits SC has 18. We both have Zero 5 star and Six 4 star so it appears SC is ahead by sheer numbers.

LSU also has 18 recruits with Zero 5 stars and Eight 4 Star so it wouldn't be out of the question for us to catch/pass both of these by National Signing day..:whistling:

Forget it. Dooley can't recruit. Doesn't know talent. Getting beat by the rest of the SEC... Where is Fijivol when you need him?

#4-Florida- 17 recruits – 1 five*- 11 four *
#6 Alabama – 17 recruits – 8 four *
#7 LSU – 18 recruits – 8 four *
#8 Auburn - 14 recruits – 9 four*
#11 USCe – 18 recruits – 6 four*
#16 Tenn – 15 recruits – 6 four*

So in theory we could very easily pass SC, and LSU as we have 3 less recruits than each, w/ SC having same number 4 stars and LSU only having 2 more. *like was said above*

Remember Bama, FL, LSU, and Aub have won NC in the last 5 years and USCe is coming off their best season ever and the SECE title and we are right there with them in recruiting.

Dooley is doing work and this class will end up a top 10 class. (PS this is per Rivals since they updated their rankings we are #16 in Rivals and ESPN now)

The real problem we have is the 2009 top 10 class would now be about 212th. We are doing fine gettin' 'em the front door, we just need to keep 'em from going out thr back.

As with any season, if we play well and beat some of those teams ranked higher than us, then I think you will most definitely see us start climbing.

Since when do we need fiji?

We have to have him... he and those like him are the only ones with a grasp of "reality". They aren't being negative for the sake of being negative mind you... they're open minded... just sure that Dooley will fail and isn't a good coach.

I think we'll be fine there. More focus on character than the last 2 staffs. And by character I mean smart, hard-working kids who buy into the school and the VFL program, and don't just view Tennessee as an opportunity to get the NFL.

Thats debateable.
