Knowing that it will take 2 games to make it to a bowl, is the team motivated enough to get it done? Will they see the benefits and rewards of making it a winnable season? If they don't take the next game, then the backs are against the wall and there is just no more room to give. I am hoping we can get all 3. Missouri and KY are going to be more than tough, especially KY after their loss. They had high hopes too.

KY is a sitting duck. Ga softened them up for us, similar to what Miss St did for us.

They are red ripe for an upset but I’m doubting Vols have enough “want to.” Tenn game still means a lot to Ky especially winning in Neyland

I can't say for sure, except I think SR's would be motivated. I can, however, say with relative certainty that if anyone's mailing in their effort, they won't be on the field for Pruitt. Not that we're going to win any of these games, but think about if we were able to pull off a minor miracle of winning the next three. The script would be totally flipped to going 4-4 in SEC and 7-5 record. If we play like we did against Aub or SC (without self inflicted errors), we can win a few of them. Tough to call any win after CLT, but guess that's why they play every week.

Many of the current Vol players just don't give the effort neccessary to win in the SEC or anywhere else for that matter, Pruitt was right when he said Charlotte and Tennessee were close to equal

Will this Saturday’s game against Ky look like Charlotte playing Ky, I sure hope not, but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit

CJP needs to figure it out. KY isn’t Bama. This team can do some things right. Catch and throw by the QB to avoid sacks and strip fumbles, run and pass blitzes by our defense to disrupt their offense. It’s not that hard to see what we can and can’t do. It’s time to stop banging our head against the wall and get the job done.

Those that are giving the right effort know what’s up, those that aren’t giving the right effort should be holding the tackling dummies for the others.

I hope some of the Vol players give more effort in the sack with their girlfriends or boyfriend's than they do on the football field

Which is more likely with this team?

1) Work extra hard to win at least 2 of the final 3 games. Suffer through a dozen more practices in preparation for a bottom tier bowl. Spend less time with family over the Christmas break.

2) Phone it in. Go home after your last final. Rest and heal. Wash this abysmal season from your mouth as soon as possible.

I hope it’s 1 but the Charlotte effort tells me 2.
