And there you have it-- two more Dooley negative records set, in one game no less. No UT coach has ever broken so many records to the downside than Dooley... and I doubt they ever will.

Im wondering just how much the new D plays into this? Honest question... IMO we are in the exact same spot we were in during Fulmers last season... Do u give the D another yr to gel? The Clawfense never got a chance to get off the ground... same scenario IMO. Its hard to watch the only team I truly love fizzle every yr. Dooley needs to work like heck.. because another loss is grounds for being sent packing.

Hart is at a crossroads in his career at UT... Either hire a Gruden quality type coach, or continue with this.

While I agree with you to an extent, Dooley has only had this year to break positive records. Tell me, were you one of the ones that called for Fulmers head? If so, do you regret it now?

Feels like we're the newest member of the Big 12

Big 21??? Did you perhaps mean to type "Ohio Valley Conference"? I believe our defense would have difficulty with OVC top teams. I never dreamed, in my wildest imaginations, that UT defense would ever sink to such lows.

Anyway, regardless the D and whoever the coach might be... GBO!

Wasn't the 08 D top 10 in the country? That's not a good comparison...

Hate to break up a good circleslob, but Bray set a record today as well. You know, that is if you were looking for something good to talk about. :hi:

I think that says more about the state of our program over the last few years than anything Dooley specific.

The questions remain:
1) "Does Hart realize the heartbeat of the fan base?"
2) "Does Hart realize he is at a crossroads in his career?"
3) "Does Hart even care about the heartbeat of the fan base?"

For the sake of the football team, I hope each answer can be answered in the affirmative, and that he is willing to do something about it... and with appropriate quickness (not a knee-jerk like Hamilton did in hiring Dooley).

I like good, stout defenses, defensive schemes that adjust in game to explosive offenses, strategies that slow down the game to reflect what's taking place on the field, low scoring games, high scoring but well-played games.

I have no idea what our D is playing. It's a type of football with which I'm not familiar.

I was reffering to the 08 O being in the same situation as the 12 D.... where its the first yr of a ''new'' coordinator and scheme... and how that may play into the struggles. Excellent comparison IMO

Offense is NOT a problem. We've played well all year with the exception of Alabama and well, they are the number one team for a reason.

Did UT finally cement its last place standing in all defensive categories after this game?
