Ok VN, who do you think are some of the most underrated Vols from the last 20 years? Opinions will vary, but here are a few players that I think were great players but are easily forgotten when the discussion of stud Vols comes up and were better than some give them credit for.

Travis Stephens

Raynoch Thompson

Omar Gaither

Will Overstreet

David Martin

It's a bit outside the 20yr mark but I've always felt that Terry McDaniel was/is greatly underappreciated.

The entire 1985 Vols team! That team set a higher standard and expectation. That inturn led to improved visibility and recriuting over the next several years and eventually led to Peyton coming and then the 1998 championship IMHO!

And Billy Ratliff. With out his fumble recovery against Arky, there is no national championship in 1998. Dude was held to gether with duct tape! True VFL!!

Relative no names, but were tough sobs that were undersized even then, but played with SEC heart and toughness.
