No he wasn't. He went to TMI(Tennessee Military Institute) out of high school for one year before going to UT

Thanks 2 iron. I knew he didn't come directly to UT. Not sure the reasoning behind going to TMI.

cobb was something like a 2 * and would certinly qualify as one of our most underrated players ever if...fulmer hadn't been such a star gazer

even if star rankings existed back then there is no way Reggie Cobb was a 2*

Hefney was a low 3 star. Dan Williams and Luke Stocker were 3-stars. I think D-MO should be on there just bc he was an afterthought to Creer as previously mentioned.

This is a forum for the recruits that weren't talked about coming out of high school. Recruits weren't excepted to be stars. Recruits that didn't have a lot of stars but worked the their buts off to "give their all for Tennessee."

My pick had to be Nick Reveiz.

He was a walk on and came on this team and worked his butt off to be a star of his team in 2010.

How old are you?

When you start asking most "ever" questions you better be able to cite UT football history for the last 50 years

:good!:Reggie Cobb was cut on his freshmen team in high school.

No he wasn't...RC was a 4 year starter @ Central...had 1475 yards his SR year plus he was the State long jump champ,

cobb was something like a 2 * and would certinly qualify as one of our most underrated players ever if...fulmer hadn't been such a star gazer

Need to brush up on your VOL history there Chief RC played for Majors and RC was on Banner Elite 11 and #3 in KNS list.
