I don't see how it's racist at all??? If anything it's apologizing for the past.

heard some of it on the way in. I'm not in a position to judge how racist it is since I turned the station. That song is terrible

I've heard it and read the lyrics. The concept he was trying to create is good I suppose. Not sure how needed it is, but the song is terrible. It's really really bad musically and lyrically. None of it goes together smoothly.

And when it flops, everyone will say it was because of the subject matter, which will be bs.

Brad should stick to being an entertainer.

I'll expand on the subject in regards to LL Cool J too. The guys "troubled" upbringing was not brought on by race issues either so to have him deliver this message is kinda laughable. His childhood may have been rough due to his father going nuts and his mom's new boyfriend being abusive, but none of that leads me to think "the man" was putting him in "chains".

Considering his success in a huge variety of industries aside from Music, I'd consider LL pretty damn savvy in business and well beyond some perceived glass ceiling he wishes to pretend he's encountered due to the color of his skin. Its about like Kid Rock saying, I've got it rough now all because I grew up in Detroit.

and above all, the song sucks still.
