You ask will not take this but what we have are 2 mediocre qbs. Hopefully a great qb is on the watch list. Milton looked 10 times better than Hooker last night but that wont last. I am glad thats over..

Great job Tennessee!!

A few more recruits and we will be able to win these games. It was Jimmy and Joes not Xs and Os that lost us this game.

Go Vols!!
We are about four recruiting classes full of studs short of beating Georgia.

Whew, thanks! There for a minute, I thought you were talking about me. I guess your slam was toward the team that just killed themselves playing the best team in the country with basically one arm. I personally feel better now
Your pretty close to the ledge, you may need to take a few step back. The fact that you get so worked up over a comment made by a poster on a forum you have never met before shows your immaturity and mixed up priorities. Either that or you’re drunk.

We’re light years better in 2021 under Heupel than we were in 2017. We had opportunities tonight, but we’re just not there yet. We’re not nearly as far away as a lot people think we are.
I agree with this and said during the game the score won’t be and isn’t indicative of how we played; same as with the UF game. However, at some point it has to be noted that a 20+ loss is how the game went and not scoring when we had opportunities is part of the game. The product on the field looks better and more competent so I’m inclined to say we’ve made progress and are closing that gap on teams but at the end of the day the results are the same, so I’m torn on what to think.

My bad. Just pi$$es me off that folks are complaining over this one. I misinterpreted you sir
No problem. I agree with you too. The guys played their asses off and have done really great this year. I’m not saying I’d be happy with this season in year 4 or 5, but I don’t think I’d be looking to run off the coach either.

I kept thinking about the Herman Edwards you play to win the game snippet. I don't know Heupel personally but I suspect this is the mindset based on his decisions. I'm in the camp that likes his aggressiveness.

Though it would've been nice to just got some points on the board, I understand Huepel's logic. We were able to move the football down to the red zone the Georgia would bring the house and we would have a sack or do something that killed the drive.

I think two things can be true. 1) you can attempt winning was an uphill battle especially when yhe other team was using depth to stay fresher than us and 2) we still can point to some missed opportunities and mistakes that lessoned our ability to make it a 4 quarter game.

We are thin across the board. Evans being hurt, then losing one of our best WR early. It threw the timing off. Against UGA that is all the opening they need.

This just looks like a thread a UConn or UMass fan would start.

UGA also adjusted and went lighter after the first couple series. A lot of times they only had two true defensive lineman out there and the rest linebackers and defensive backs.

No other team has either. Clemson, a team that is infinitely more talented than us could only score 3.
You're right about that. At least we got the early 10. After that they did exactly what they have done to everyone else. Sat on our chest and suffocated us until the game was out of reach by which time they were content to trade yards for time off the clock.

Yesterday really showcased the gap between us and them.

I’m afraid the “the only team to score more that 13 on Georgia” is overshadowed by the fact that we blew at least touchdowns, and lost by 24 at home.

Win or lose you can find positives/negatives in any game. Has nothing to do with moral victories. Weird how sensitive people are about that
