Most memorable UT game you have ever been too?

2009 vs. Georgia: Not an especially important or historic game, but it is the first game I convinced my parents to attend with me. We go every year together now after that 45-19 beat down in Neyland.

2004 vs. Florida: This was my first time seeing our fellas beat the Gators in Neyland. Great game to see with my best friend. Only game I've ever heard that was louder was the '15 Oklahoma game.

2016 vs. Florida: After forcing my parents to go with me to every home game against the Gators since 2010, and trying to explain what it would be like when we would finally win and break the streak, they got to see it all in person. I've been to every Florida game in Neyland since 2000, and I was happy my folks finally got to see Neyland at its peak frenzy. They were blown away.

2015 vs. Oklahoma: Not the outcome we wanted, but the loudest I've ever heard Neyland Stadium. I started to believe we were coming back during this game, that the old Tennessee I remember from my youth was rising up.

2002 vs. Arkansas: It was a six OT win by the good guys. Didn't get out of Neyland until almost 1 in the morning. Fun times for a high school kid from West Tennessee.

The National Championship game against Florida State. We sat in the ABC Television Network section with NASCAR driver and big UT fan Sterlin Marlin. Sterlin set directly behind me and was as excited as I was over the victory.

Not sure what section,but the water in the stands covered our feet. Beautiful day on Rocky Top! Dale Carter two years earlier was even better.

Leaving the game all the Florida fans were super quiet. Tennessee fan yelled out "Why you guys so quiet?"

I also got to watch Tony Robinson play. Believe we beat UCLA like 26-10 back in 85. He was just fun to watch.

After the game, I told my friends if we made it to our car alive, I would never set foot in that miserable state again. So far, I have kept that promise. Gator fans were worse than any bammers I had ever seen.

I was in the upper deck, south endzone. Watching both of the goalposts come apart almost simultaneously was unreal.

Just for giggles, I came back by the stadium the next morning to get one more peek. That field look torn to Hell.

!982 vs Bama with the Bear's final visit. He posed with virtually everyone on the field who asked for photos. Stayed in the stands for at least half an hour celebrating the win.

'95 at Legion Field sat next to The Pride (great fun) as we whupped UA's butt. Stayed late watching B'hm police arresting Tn sportswriters for being on the field. They frog marched a couple of them from mid field back to the end zone and put them on their knees right in front of the band/ UT fans. Thought there was going to be a riot.

Unfortunately, my most memorable games make me sick to think about.

2008 @ South Carolina against Spurrier. Was Fulmer's last game before being fired. That place was rocking and I was the only Tennessee fan in the middle of their student section - game was a blowout.

2012 Florida game - Gameday game and our first big test back on the national scene. Took the lead into the second half before Florida rattled off 24 unanswered to win by 17.

2015 Oklahoma game - another chance for us to prove we were back. We started out great and got out to a huge lead only to let them come back and tie it within the last 10 seconds and beat us in overtime. Loudest event I've ever experienced in my life.

1980 USC game and Alatorre's interception for their last second field goal for a USC win that should have been Fuad's.
1982 Bama game. Mike Terry's interception in the end zone to seal it.

I was lucky enough to be there for the national championship in the Fiesta Bowl.

That was my "once in a lifetime" game.

1985 Auburn, 1995 Alabama, 1992 Georgia, and the1998 Florida games for me. I've been blessed to enjoy some great games with my father, and some very good friends. In the end, that is as special or more so than the games themselves.
