Most memorable UT game you have ever been too?

You probably can't say this with your fiancé around but here's the perfect comeback to the comments that you received from UGA fans:

"She doesn't date Bulldogs since they always come up a little bit short" or "She doesn't date Bulldogs since she knows she will ultimately be disappointed at the end"

ahahahaaha yeah that would do the trick for sure!

Having been at both games, my recollection of the '85 Auburn contest was nothing but blue skies and a beautiful sunshiney day for an epic win over Bo Jackson and the Tigers. the Florida game was in a downpour...

The 89 Auburn game was in the rain. That was when Cobb and Webb ran for a gazillion yards. The OL was dubbed the TVA.

Going to games since 1975 as a student. Season ticket holder over 30 years. Nothing matches excitement of 85 Sugar bowl vs Miami. My #2 is 98 UF for excitement and fan fury

Beating Testeverde and Miami in the Sugar Bowl. I was there. Got a ticket on street before game. We were heavy underdogs. Great game. Never forget it.

Most memorable games witnessed in person...
1974 vs Clemson (29-28; Condredge Holloway's senior season)
1979 vs Notre Dame (40-18; stand out game of Johnny Major's 1st winning season)
1986 Sugar Bowl (35 unanswered points; Miami's new clothes :dance2:)
1988 Peach Bowl (blew into town, bought a ticket outside the stadium, Vols win!)
1990 Cotton Bowl (Arkie had every offensive stat except the winning score :yahoo:)
2012 Kick-Off Classic (35-21 over NCSU, a brief moment of hope in the Dooley years, and my wife finally accompanies me to a Vols game :cheer:)

Alabama '82

The whole experience ... walking into Neyland with a feeling that something special was going to happen ... the Vols coming out in all orange, and Neyland as electric as I ever saw or heard it ... the fumble on Bama's first play, and the ball seemingly loose forever ... building a lead only to see Bama close to within a TD ... the last Bama drive ending in the deflected interception ... rushing the field and hanging on the goal post as it was ripped down ... carrying the post down to Cumberland, then depositing it in front of the players' dorm ... the all night party on the strip, cops looking the other way as everyone was drinking on the street ... still hearing the celebration the next morning from the Fort Sanders house I was living in.

Just one of the great sporting events I ever had the privilege of being a part of. Can it really be 35 years ago? Every time I watch that video I get chills at so many parts, and i swear I can see myself on that goal post at the end.

Citrus Bowl for Reggie White's final game in orange. After the win, one of the student got as many fans as he could to gather over the tunnel. Reggie was finishing up getting interviewed on the sideline. As he approached us, we started chanting his name. Cool getting to be part of that.

2004 FL - The most amazing atmosphere I've ever seen in Neyland. The Kick.
2016 @GA - The Dobnail Boot. Sitting close to the sideline in a GA section seals the deal.
2016 FL - The streak ends.
2006 @GA - Second half onslaught.
2016 vs VT @Bristol - The Spectacle.
2003 @FL - The Hail Mary before the half.

Honorable mention to the 1998 Auburn game - fumble recovery TD/defensive brutality, 2006 Cal and Air Force games.

My first Vols game, 1975 against Colorado St. My Pop Warner league coach took our team.

1992 against Florida, the 2nd half monsoon. About the most fun I've ever had in the rain

6 ot vols over ark the vols should have lost that game alex walls was hurt and they had to use the back up his kick got block but got thru the uprights and then arkansas kicker shanked his kick had my nerves all messed up great game

I remember this game went past midnight and ended on my birthday. As a young kid watching with his dad that kind of thing just sticks with you. Thanks for the memory.

Nothing like a home game, but I remember going to the UT-UGA '06 game in Athens as a frosh in high school. I think Red Bull was just coming around because they were handing them out for free outside the stadium. Had about 6 of those things before the game. Still remember that blocked punt and have the SI cover framed on my wall. Best away game I've been too by far.

Most memorable for a good reason = 98 Florida game by far

Most memorable for a bad reason=2016 Bama I've never seen my team so humiliated ever

Had season tickets with my dad since I was a little kid, commuting from middle TN just about every home weekend every fall. I can count on my hand the number of games I missed. The '04 UF game is obviously and all-timer, but the most exciting game was the 2002 6-overtime stint against Matt Jones and the razorbacks. Best memory with my dad in Neyland hands down.

I was at the game in Gainesville, FL 2001 also known as the death of Steve Spurrier
UT 34
UF 32

My most memorable games aren't actually about the football.

2006 against Air Force watching Inky Johnson lay on the turf for an uncomfortable eternity and
2010 against Oregon - lightning delay where we all huddled in a mass with nowhere to go
