My favorites have been mentioned -- ND79, 'Bama 82, Auburn 85, Florida & Arkansas 98, Florida 04 and South Carolina '09 and '13. Add for me Clemson '74. With Clemson ahead by 2 TD's late, Condredge Holloway rallied the Vols to within 7 at 21-28. On a trick play, Condredge hit Stanley Morgan for a long touchdown and then followed with a lob pass for two to sure handed Larry Seivers for the 29-28 win. Neither team was ranked but it was exciting for me as a student. And my first game was Tulane '67, probably memorable only to me.

2005 - vs South Carolina. We lost 16-15. Fulmer got the ball back with almost 3 minutes on the clock and couldn't even get in field goal range. To make it worse, I was there with my girlfriend and her friends who were all USC fans. Long ride back to SC after that game.

The best was last year. A 23-21 win over South Carolina. That was a great day.

Florida in '98 is the best game I ever had the pleasure to see in person.Nothing compares to watching the National title being plaid in Big Orange tho.My favorite regular season game was the Miracle at South Bend.Good times.Go Vols and HTTR!!

I just remember getting the ball back with about 2:30-3 on the clock and thinking, we got this, gain about 30 yards and let's kick a FG and win by 2. And I remember the worst play calling which led us to 3 and out and we all watched helplessly as USC beat us for the first time in like 13 years. What bad luck.

First game in '07 vs Vandy. Came back from 19 points down to keep our East hopes alive. 2009 South Carolina was also fun.

'98 Arkansas. Ranked #1 for only 1 week and a lot of people were leaving after our failed 4th down attempt. My brother wanted to leave but I wasn't budging. Still had to drive the ball and score to win!

I think it was in the 70's when we scored like 21 or 27 points in the last 4 minutes of the 4th quarter to beat bama.
Help me out someone.

No question here. '98 Florida game. Florida wide receiver had at least 2 steps on our defense and Deon Grant makes an unbelievable leaping one hand interception. My favorite play of all time. Missed field goal, ran on to the field, and high fived Tee. The crowd was beyond electric (need new category - maybe nuclear).
Post game Dixie land delight. :thumbsup:

1998 vs UF because it was FINALLY getting over the losing streak against them and en rout to the NC. However, 2004 vs UF was probably the loudest I've ever heard Neyland.

My first game, and probably the best game (but not my favorite because we lost) was the 1990 #1 Notre Dame vs #9 UT. Rocket Ismail scored w/ 3 mins left. Andy Kelly leads us on a quick TD drive. We recover an onside kick and drive to the end zone I was sitting in. Kelly threw a pass to the corner of the endzone to what looked like an open receiver, when a ND player comes out of nowhere to intercept the pass. Unbelievable first game, but horrible ending.

Went too. Fabulous game.

But, bigger than the game to me was the fan response. It seemed like nobody, I mean nobody left that game early. Then after the win NOBODY left and the fans just kept cheering w players.

To this day I'm bewildered by the people who leave 1/2 way thru 4th Q, regardless of score. Was a different atmosphere than I've ever witnessed in 40yrs of going to Neyland. Its what I remember most @ that big win. Surreal.

I have two games that I always look back on and they are the 98 Florida game and the 98 Arkansas game. Two intense games that I will always remember!!

My favorite game in Neyland stadium has to be last years Georgia game. The reason it is my favorite is because during that game I finally believed we found the right coach. Tennessee Volunteer football is on the way back!
My favorite all time Volunteer football game has to be the 86 Sugar Bowl against Miami.
