I know we won't know for sure until about 12 days prior...but I'm trying to buy airfare to return from Charleston.

I am assuming that, vs Bama, it would not be the early game and , therefore, be at 2:30 or the night game.

What are the best guesses and why?

I hope 8 pm college gameday because that would mean we would be ranked and have upset some teams to that point!

Sorry I was so unclear but that wasn't my question.
Like you apparently know the kickoff time won't be known until the week before the game and will be determined by the records of the teams and other games of interest on that date. Therefore it is a moot thread, just like you feel my post regarding the game this Saturday is not related to your ambiguous question. Oh yeah, sorry but I flunked clairvoyance 101.

I think it will depend on both teams records. If bama is undefeated & we are too or have just 1 loss it will probably be 3:30. I think CBS gets first dibs.

I bet if they are undefeated and we are undefeated or maybe 1 close loss...I say the game is in Primetime at 8 on CBS...anything else and I say 3:30...definitely not Noon though.

LSU/Auburn is the biggest competition for the 3:30 CBS slot that day.

Boy, the guy asks for some thoughts to help him book some travel and a few jump down his throat. The safety of the Internet to be a bully huh? I hope it is 3:30 but we must win to make it so. GBO.

Assuming Alabama is still undefeated at that point (a very likely scenario), it'll be the 3:30 CBS game.

As folks have said, depends on records. LSU and Tennessee will undoubtedly be on CBS the week before (LSU might have already been the CBS game two weeks in a row, as they play Florida on October 8th), so one will get a repeat visit. My guess is that, as long as Auburn's had a passable number of insane close wins to keep themselves relevant, the LSU/Tennessee winner gets the 3:30 timeslot on October 22, and the loser gets a night game.

If by some chance we roll into the Bama game undefeated no one would be able to tell me the east doesent go through Tennessee.

I think if we win in the swamp, we will take the east. It's the second toughest environment (arguably toughest) that we will play in all year. A win like that and the sky is the limit IMO.
