We had some truly remarkable offensive efforts on the field yesterday. Seeing the highlights just makes me smile :). And the D came through in a big way on numerous occasions.

However, My Play of the Day (and for that matter, YTD), is the last play of the game. Instead of rushing the usual 3 or 4 and just praying that our opponent dropped the Hail Mary in the End Zone, we rushed 6, 6 count'em defensive monsters. This defensive call was brilliant and ballsy - and am so grateful the staff called it, as we might have had another outcome.

Your Play of the Day is probably different, but this is mine for sure. Go Vols!! HH4H

I have to agree, if he doesn’t get pressure they probably throw a touchdown

While the blitz call was huge and the caused fumble was just as big, it seems to be more and more rare that a WR is willing to lay out for a deep ball. Given the effort and momentum swing I have go with the Keyton catch just before halftime.

And unlike the previous play, where both edge rushers were held, on the last play amazingly Florida executed one of its few plays of the day without an obvious hold. And we got to AR on the play. Amazing coincidence, I’m sure!!😉😉😜😜

Great post!
I have to say that all those three are my favorite(s)👍
1A- Kenton catch
2A-Rushing six
3A-Omari forced fumble

I’m so used to seeing these types of plays happening TO the Vols. Great to see them happening FOR the Vols.
That last play took years off my life😦

The Omari Thomas forced fumble IMO
That's my choice as well. UF would likely have scored and changed the face of the game had he not made that play. I've grown to not expect take aways from this defense so when they do manage one, it's a huge boost to our chances of winning.

I've instructed my family that the ONLY gift I want for Christmas, if I indeed make it that long, is a defibrillator

The 3rd and 10 conversion that hooker connected to Fant before the Keyton bomb was huge. Hooker was hurt in the series before, we were backed up at our 10 and Florida had burned a time out hoping to get the ball back before half. Florida blitzed a player that wasn’t picked up by the rb and hooker sidestepped him and threw a perfect pass to Fant. We don’t make that play and we likely would be down two scores before the half.

it might not be the biggest highlight, but the first play (from our 1 yard line) of the last drive before halftime. Small gets stuffed for no gain, the refs inexplicably let Florida run him through the back of the end zone without blowing a whistle, throwing a flag, or stepping in at all. After some pushing and shoving our O-line blows them off the LOS on the next play for a rugby scrum first down. A couple plays later Keyton makes that amazing diving catch, then Hooker hits Bru in the end zone with :07 left. Then they come out after the half and score on the opening drive. That whole sequence was massive and I kinda felt like it all got going after Florida roughed up Small near the goalline at the start of that last drive before the half. Just my 2 cents🤷🏻‍♂️

I agree that play was also my choice.
