Most Epic Recruit Thread

I'm still proud of being the owner of post #10000 of the Jesse Scroggins.

I think it's amazing that nobody has mentioned Bo Wallace.

Wow. I've always kindof known. But I just spent the last 30 minutes going through this thread and then found the Croom one where mzterry went off on him... Wow, just wow

Makes the recent threads seem like minor meltdowns

Yes, it was beyond epic. Somebody else said the Ambles thread. Forgot about that one, also very good reading.

Markeith Ambles. And the best stuff got deleted.

Man, we thought he was god. What a stud he turned out to be. I literally haven't heard his bame since recruit time. I mean, if he's productive, pardon me, but I watch too much ESPN as it is, & I haven't heard his name.

How about the last second flip to arkansas by Otha Peters, or however his name is spelled. I personally fell out on that one.

Otha peters
Dalton Santos
Bryce brown
Jesse scroggins
Von bell
Jeff luc

In no particular order. Some didn't have that quality all the way through, but ended with a bang

The LB from KY that all but promised the night before signing day because he couldn't be far from family and then jumped to USC with Kiffy

I am not sure what to call the NuKeese thread but I wish we could go back and read it.
It was more entertaining than his career.
Last year I got raked over the coals when I said in the Von Bell thread that as long as Meyer was recruiting him i wouldn't believe it till i saw it.

I've been following the recruiting forum for a several years now and I've noticed there are a lot who seem to to get emotionally invested in having a recruit sign with UT.

Its kind of the recruiting offseason with not a lot of info out there. I thought it may be fun to be nostalgic and think back to some of the better threads where there were awesome displays of emotional breakdowns and/or excitement.

My vote would be the Scoggins thread. I believe it was up over 10K posts and people were banned.

Recently, the the Santos thread gets an honorable mention.

What about the most epic meltdowns by posters?

While lurking, I recall a poster Tombo who challenged people to a fight.

Also Jmoore's rant as well.

Any others?

Dalton Santos sure didn't do much against BYU. He may be a bust. Still would have liked to have him for recruiting momentum.

Though the Gruden thread is technically not recruiting there is absolutely NO DOUBT it was the most epic series of threads in the history of VN. I can proudly say I was a part of those threads. We all got played to some degree or another but it helped those involved to survive the nightmare finish to Dooley's tenure. It was therapy....the kind of therapy that makes you go crazy. It was fun...it became a big dysfunctional family.
