Most disappointing loss in the CBJ era

Oh I don't know. I'd still go with Florida and Oklahoma last year. Truth is Butch sux as a coach. Every good coach brings some new set or play each week and he brings nothing. He's stuffed Hurd down our throats for the last two years with Kamara and Kelly sitting on the sidelines most of the time. He gives us a QB that can't throw because he's a good runner and he hardly ever runs. HE WILL NEVER WIN OR SNIFF A CHAMPIONSHIP! I'll never quit watching and wearing my Vol gear but I damn sure won't spend hundreds of dollars every year going to these games.

I think we will upset Kentucky and then lose to Vandy. Finish 7-4 and then keep Butch for another year. Let him go with no talent and then no coach will want to come here , and the cycle continues.

At least we beat Florida and Georgia. I know we're all incredibly disappointed right now...but the key injuries have really destroyed this team.

Ask yourself why Tennessee year after year has the same old injury problems.... every year same crap!
No team even comes close.. Same bs year after year!

He's already lost to Vandy once. Mainly because we could not pick up one yard behind a future NFL line --- should have known then that his stupid offense would not work in the SEC which is as he reminds us every week a "line of scrimmage league"

This is going down as his most disappointing season ---- for all those fans who said as long as we beat Florida they didn't care who we lost to, if seems like they were lying

Man I can't keep up with how we are supposed feel!
After T A&m it was "best I ever felt after a loss"

Just stop it with the excuses!
Having a senior QB completely outplayed by a 18 year old fr and a coach too stupid or afraid to even try someone else has nothing to do with injuries

injury excuse worked for the last 4 games. We scored 14 points on a d that UMASS scored 28 on last week.

made me more depressed because i bought in.

now sense/since we cant have good things because we are cheap because we are building rooms for kids who wont attend this school because our coaching is to stuck on morals instead of wins.

Yeah, but we absolutely should have beaten a South Carolina team with 0 good wins this year. The Bama loss didn't kill our SEC east chances, but a loss to the Gamcocks is the back breaker, and that's what's so hard to take.

Florida will lose another game, I fully believe, and all we had to do was win out against lesser competition to have a chance to be in the SECCG in Atlanta. We were so close.

To be honest we have played 1 good half of football all year. You take away the Fl second half and we have been a below average sec football team. I tried to believe all year we were better than we are, but the fact is we are average. Look at the stats! It sucks, but it is who we are. So, what do we do? Butch won't be fired, but damn he has to make some changes. I think we were a better team last yr. We are regressing as a program!

If you think the Vols have the type of injuries we have had this year on a consistent basis, then you havent been a fan very long. As a matter of fact, you would have to go back to at least 2002 to find a Vols team that even comes close to this years. And even that team doesnt match this year.

Johnny Majors lost to Army and Duke twice.

Heck, Peyton Manning lost to Memphis.

We played horrible, plus the bounces didn't go our way last night.
