Most didn't like Kiffin, Dooley or Butch hires.
#2 most profitable program in FBS.
#1 recruiting budget in FBS.

That $133 million Ath. Dept. budget doesn't materialize if the fans are ignored.

Well done Vol Nation.

We fight and argue amongst ourselves and it's mostly all in fun but I'm proud of the way we all came together and protested this hire. Kudos to those who made it out to the stadium.

Our fans have more balls than the Administration that’s getting paid to make idiotic business decisions.

It's incredible. I don't recall ever seeing anything like this

never been more proud to be a Vol than today. I don't care if we ever win another game. Well, that's a lie. But I'm still dang proud today.

And screw all the media who says we’re the bad guys! They haven’t had to deal with a decade of pouring their souls into an inept program! Schiano was the last straw.

I don't want to be known as "the most demanding fan base" - I just want a coach and administration I'm not ashamed of.

I hate to say it guys, but even though today's events represented a very poorly thought strategy by those representing UT, the football program is about to take the brunt of the suffering for it.

This is bad, and it's going to be bad for a long time.

Seriously though...was vol1707 someone within the AD? They were pumping some serious pro-Schiano propaganda for the last 5 days

Unless your ever in Knoxville on a fall Sat day/night then you have no IDEA!!! #vfl

I honestly was thinking the same thing. Of all the coaches out there, why pick and defend him? Hell might have been Currie himself. Lol

Then so be it. Some things in life are bigger than football. Even if he's innocent or knew third hand his name was involved with the raping of children. As a father and an uncle that's not ok to me. Good riddance Yankee.

Have they read the transcript of the deposition. It's pretty clear to me.

Well, I don't know what GS knew or didn't know. But, I do know that the AD's office should have anticipated this type of response. This is why you hire a search firm and do soft polling before you just roll a guy out there.

Everyone will suffer for how this was handled.

Penn State weathered something WAY worse than this.

It's not up to you.
It's the people that pay the $133 million.
They're entitled.
Not some chuckleheaded administrators we pay.
