Most annoying fan base?

You know as well as I do that plenty of posters on here had playoff expectations. Some were reserving hotel rooms in Tampa. There was even a thread about planning the championship parade through Knoxville.

I remember some of that. Most had us at 10 wins and winning the east. I doubt many were trying to figure out how to dump hotel rooms since then.

Where was the threshold for you?

I would've been satisfied if we split FL-GA-AM-AL in some way and dropped one more somewhere. So that's, what, 9-3? I expected 9 and wanted 10. I thought we'd challenge for the East.

I was disappointed with SC and Vandy, but I wouldn't call that "losing sight of winning."

Yep, im running disney marathon on the 8th and had my room two extra nights, just in case.
But still would have been excited to go to NOLA.
And way, hope they play a good game tomorrow and win a hard fought game.

I thought 10 was manageable and would win the east with A&M being the question. If they ended up being what they kinda had been over the last few years 11 was possible. Didn't see us beating Bama and wont going forward given the current conditions.

Of course when you drop 2 to Vandy and SC you have to reconsider going forward.

So in all, I don't think the expectations if they were 10 or 11 were really all that unrealistic. Outside of Bama no one else was really very good.

There was an end goal in sight.

1. To win the east for the first time since 07 and we couldnt beat a highschool QB.
2. After the East was a foregone conclusion we STILL had a chance to play for the Sugar bowl for the first time since 1990 and looked unmotivated.

So I should continue to drive 4 hours from middle TN to support a program that accepts mediocrity? No I don't bash kids on social media like an idiot with nothing else to do and yes I am selfish when it comes to UT football. It is people like you that continue to show up and generate revenue to a program that has obviously lost site of the # 1 goal which is to win.

Look at other teams with stadiums, support, and tradition like Tennessee's. What's the difference? They are winning.

U do know Bentleys dad held him back a year in jr high. So he's the same age as any other true freshman. Basically beat ourselves that game Dobbs worst outing his career.

Yes, we know Bentley was held back a year, like a ton of kids are these days. Bottom line is, in terms experience and classification, Bentley should've been a senior in high school finishing up his season right about the time he lit Tennessee's defense up

This has already been posted on here. And the consensus of those who post all the garbage is that it's the recruits fault. (paraphrasing).

Messaging teenage boys about where they commit to attend college is more than a little creepy.

Giving opinions on a fan opinion board- game on!

So 9/81 recruits think the Vol fans, who fill a hundred-thousand plus stadium every home game, are the worst in the country? Did they happen to ask the recruits which school they hoped to play for in their collegiate career as a follow up question?

Some professional journalism there Lou.

Giving opinions is one thing, being a completely ignorant and oblivious dip**** is another (I don't mean you Sobe).
