One of the top HUNGRIEST fanbases that keep get letting down by mediocre administration and coaching.

Wanna shut angry fans up? Commit to winning and being great. ...not mediocre!

You can (and obviously will) post all the negative you want. It's got to be some type of therapy for you. But please try one positive post to every 500 negatives that you post just to show us there's something about being a Tennessee Vol fan that you like. Can you do that. Come on, pucker up and give us one lol

I'd say this is pretty accurate! Depends on whether we just lost to a lowly rival, and how much time has elapsed after the loss.

I definitely bought a ticket on the nega-bus after Vandy, and no it's never OK to lose to Vandy... but am still hopeful that we get our act together and close out Nebraska and recruiting strong, and get back to playing solid fundamental football in regards to penalties, turnovers and tackling...

That's the logic huh. Let's as a fan base do things that make it more difficult to get recruits to come to UT. Then let's complain that we're not winning enough.
That make about as much sense as refusing to get in from the rain yet complaining that you're getting wet.

Losing and mediocrity starts at the top....not fans.

Other coaches can negative cruit against the Vols. With twitter in existence. ...their are fans from every top program tweeting at players and cruits. Also ppl pose undercover. But everything negative towards CBJ coaching ability is earned!

Oh and TN has one of biggest fan twitters in the land...bound to be a few that take it to far with tweets. But its not why cruiting has dropped some. It's field results and development.

Something bad happens:

1. Say something to the people around you. Okay.
2. Jump on VN and say something horrible. Okay (often what is said is hilariously overblown and silly, but okay).
3. Tweet horrible things at current players/current recruits/former recruits. Stupid, horrible, no good very bad.

It's really kind of simple. Recruits aren't calling Tennessee annoying because of things said in the home or on VN. They are saying that because of the social media contact. And that part of it is ridiculous.

Hmmm so what's the difference when we were beating teams like UF, UGA and VA Tech?

Hint: it includes players not on the field.

Lol poor coaching and planning lost us the SC for sure.

Fortune our healthy team survived Appy St. Thank God Hurd was at right place.

Difference was the star players turned it on in 2nd half. Fl and UGA not very good. Our roster was better. Still a poorly coached team.

Reader, the recruits saying Tennessee was the most annoying fan base was in relation to idiots out there like sab who tweet and stalk recruits. It has nothing to do with a couple thousand pissed off fans.

I've said it before, and i'll say it again:

If you find yourself tweeting or facebook stalking a 17 year old several times a day, even if it's what YOU think of as positive stuff, just stop. Take a deep breath, count to ten, turn your computer off and go outside and do something else. Jesus, I've never hated my own fanbase as much as I have this year.

Players, former players and recruits have stated things like that matter. Tweets, fan sites, calling into radio/TV shows and showing ignorance. This is just one more piece of the entire issue.
I find it nuts that anyone would see this report and try to defend the absolute onslaught that some of our very own fans perpetuate (Volfaninbama that means push forward or keep it going) by doing all the above I've mentioned. Retweet after Retweet etc. There is no denying that our fans and I'm sure a few trolls are having an impact. To deny it is silly.
But some would rather see their Retweet and brag to their buddies. E-cred makes them feel cool. The media knows this and they know some of our fans are the perfect target for click bait.
