If people like you would never come here again life and VN would be much nicer!

If we lose top recruits then look in the mirror and you'll see 1 of the reasons we lost them.

You feel better? You yave no idea what you are talking about. I was bashed on this board for saying I would lose respect for CBJ if he benched Dobbs after the USC game.
The only difference between you and I is that I dont believe CBJ has the ability to be a very good coach here and you must. And yeah, it's really hurt recruiting since that is one of the areas that CBJ has done very well.
I didnt express that view until after the vandy game. So Im sorry if volnation isnt fun for you any more because not everyone shares the same opinion as you.

Let Bama, UGA, LSU, FL go thru same of what we've been thru last 10 years and you'd them listed as same. Bama would be so much worse. Though plenty of negativity it is pretty easy argument to make that we are most supportive and passionate. How many teams would continue to pull 90k+ for games even in down years??? They should look at what Oklahoma players and fans said about their visit to UT? Moving forward if we just win the games we are supposed to, all this negative media will take care of itself.

My 2 cents(not that it matters,haha) is the negativity,trashing of the team,constantly bugging players on all social media can play a part in thier decision. Is it the main reason? No but constantly reading it everyday can play a part.
Now other teams have these fans also but we are only interested in our Vols so we all need to take a minute and think before we post. Whether it's Twitter,Facebook,Volnation or any other message boards,players do visit them.
It can be denied all day long or try to say it's not true or doesn't matter but the truth is it does play a part big or small.

It seems you are the one who thinks you are a big deal. After 78 years, I am very comfortable with myself and most other humans. It is those like you, who have need to build you ego by bashing others. Grow up or get some help from a mental health facility. Most of those facilities are covered by insurance.

Okay cool, thanks for the advice. One of the things I hated about my granddad, he hated anyone that was not white. When you talk to him and mention that there are plenty of good people that happen to not be white, he had no idea how to react except call you stupid due to youth and tell you to get help.
Im only 38, but im glad ive developed the ability to disagree with someone without questioning their mental capacity or character.

I don't disagree. Losing games they should win and having a coach constantly berated in the press fuels the fire of fan unrest more than anything.

Back to the twitter issue. The guys who called the Vols the most annoying fan base in the polls are probably the same ones that can't put their phones down because they crave the attention on social media as well.

The more interesting question to pose to these recruits IMO would be how much social media affects their choice of colleges.

If they answer that it greatly affects them, then there are some more widespread problems socially than the Vols winning and losing some games.

People get far too wrapped up in facebook, twitter, and sites like VN anymore.

I guess the coaches being accused of lying to recruits by a recruit doesn't do as much harm as some fools in the fan base clogging up their accounts?

The top 4 "most annoying" fan bases are huge national brands, two of them are absolutely starving to become relevant again, and the other two are well established modern day powers. What, exactly, is such a big deal about this?
