Hi all,

I'm trying to find a photomatch for a Mose Phillips game jersey that I own. It's from the 1994 season, as evidenced by the 200-year patch on the upper left shoulder. It's an orange home gamer and is best noted for the enormous impact mark on the back right shoulder. I don't know if it was from one hit (if so, it was a hellacious hit), but it's got a huge paint transfer through the 1 on the right sleeve and a big hole that goes through the nameplate and the shoulder entirely (that's three layers of a durene-type fabric)

Here is what the whole back looks like, and then a closeup of the affected area. Does anyone have a pic or video capture of this in game action? From the colors transferred, I'd guess either Kentucky or Memphis State.

He played for the Vols not Bama, I dare you think that I would date a Bammer!!!:pukeb:
He's trying to say that if your friends jersey had tears on it he hoped the Crimson Turds jerseys looked worse. Sorta like if you got in a fight, got a black eye and somebody mentions your black eye you're supposed to say "Yeah but you should see the other guy".

Most of the game jerseys came from a company in Florida that purchased about a seven-year run of gamers that had been sitting in boxes in Neyland. The vast majority that were acquired had the nameplates still on; NCAA rules prohibit sale of anything that definitively identifies a player who still has eligibility left (which is why no replicas have names, and why NCAA video games would have WR #37 instead of P. Price). In this case, everyone has long since exhaused their eligibility

He's the head coach at Hillwood High school. If you can't find out what game it's from, maybe he'll remember? Doubtful, but it's worth a shot if it is important enough to you. I haven't been able to find an email address for him at Hillwood yet, but the phone number to the school is 615-353-2025. You can try this email, which I found on the Hillsboro high school website (where he was an assistant before he got the hillwood job). mose.phillips@mnps.org
Maybe he still checks it and would be kind enough to respond. Who knows? Good luck.

cool collection rockytopreb. what is your favorite piece?

Hmmm....I had good success with a few that I bought through the Tennessee Traditions shop. That's where the white Scott Wells came from (with blue paint all over the shoulders), the #37 unknown jersey (I think it's one of the photoshoot jerseys), the 2002 Sean Young white with orange stripes, and the Keyon Whiteside (with 17 repairs on it).

My two favorites are the Billy Ratliff (which I gave back to him when I was in Knoxville at the end of March/beginning of April this year) and the Ron Green white #55. I had a friend who was in Knoxville a year or two ago and asked if I needed a favor, so I told him to swing by the shop and see what there was. He snapped a few pics, and when I was looking at them I happened to notice it in the background. I told him if it had the nameplate attached and had the three orange bars with the black Adidas logo to buy it for me, which he did.

Yeah, it's from 1998.:dance2:

If anyone wants to buy any of these jerseys from my collection, PM me for a description and whether I'm even willing to sell it. There's a couple I don't want to move....yet.
