He had 35 tackles as a 1 tech NT. I wouldn't call that disappointing. He did his job. Everyone expects every DLineman to be Ndamukong Suh and it just doesn't work like that. Especially when you're coaches suck at developing talent. I think he had a lot of potential that didn't get met but some people's comments are flat out disrespectful.

He talked a lot of mess and didn’t back it up. Wasn’t much of a leader. Was way over rated out of high school. Basically missed his freshman year because he was out of shape. Got hurt in the SCe game and was out the rest of year 2. He played decent his Jr. year. It just is what it is. Botch should have played him on offense. Hope he does well.

He did his job the majority of the time. His job isnt to make 80 tackles a year. Its to allow the LBs to make 80 tackles. Was he elite? No but maybe could've been but we could say that about a few talented players over the last 5 years. Injuries happen. Especially with our old S&C program apparently.

IF... Aubie had not signed the Big offensive tackle Grad Transfer Jack Driscoll from U Mass with 2 years to play 2... would Morris have been saying that for Aubie? My buddy that coaches at Grayson said it was big factor. My question is though, would he have made those comments if he weren't committed to us?

They weren't against the BEST Florida teams. It's almost stupid to say in their history too. They won the championship after the 1996 season, one in which they kicked our asses in Neyland. The year before when they played Nebraska for the natty, they beat us 62-37. They beat us 31-13 at home in 2002 and 59-20 in 2007. Not to mention the 34-20 ass beating our 1997 SEC champs got from them. Conversely, our national championship team beat them in OT by 3 only after they missed a chippy. We lost with better talent the next year too. Most years, we had the more talented team but Fulmer would choke up and play them not to lose

Actually I wasn't upset at all. Just the opposite. I was laughing at the ignorance, or the idea that some believe there isn't anyone that might know better so they embellish to support their deluded sense of the Fulmer years

To talk trash to throw the competition off their game or rub in a loss is poor form.

To talk to ensure the competition is preparing to be their best so you get their best game is the best reason to talk.
