Morley kicked off team (merged)

Big loss for this team. I know we're all going down the routes of "he deserves it" "bad rep the university" etc, but IMO, this makes our secondary worse, and it needs to be great to make up for the dline problems

He should have been kicked off long ago just like Colquitt (spelling) but we all know Fulmer and company did not instill the discipline necessary to be a top notch program. I'm glad the loafer / troublemaker is history, now his number 7 belongs to Nukeese, a kid that seems to have his head on straight and wants to play here ! ENOUGH SAID

um, hello?

he was kicked off. He was thrown off the team, scholly revoked back at the end 2006. He then spent an entire year not only taking classes at Pellissippi State Technical Community College to bring up his grades, but pretty much having to live out of his car while doing so.

This isn't a fulmer discipline issue. That kid earned his way back to the team.

That sucks. We could have really used him. I thought he was a heck of a ball player. He deff didnt help out our secondary by getting kicked who. I guess Rogan and Berry will have to carry the load now. Guess he didnt take advantage of his 2nd chance. Btw anyone know when Vinson will be back?

Honestly, I think this is just one of those cases of there are some kids who can't balance college well and have great difficulty with it. I know we're all going to say "you should be able to" but there are plenty of kids who have issues w/ it no matter how hard they try and just can't balance it all....especially when athletics are thrown into that balancing act for them too. And a kid too. Most people would have an increidbly time with just a kid and college, but all three is alot for anyone who's in his late teens or early 20s

Could also be just a case too of he didn't like the new staff (article hints a bit)...people have difficulty playing for someone they don't like (again, isn't right, but does happen)

He was kicked off and went to Pellissippi State and got reinstated. That has nothing to do with it. Why would you be glad a kid is in trouble? What makes you think Nuke is any different, do you know him? Hopefully he is, but these are young adults that are trying to find there way, you have no idea what direction they might go, you just wish for the best.

Too bad for this kid, but you reap what you sow. Hopefully he gets his life on track and takes care of his family. Football is not everything.

I truly hate this for D-Mo. Hate it for ANYONE that can't seem to get it together in life. Hopefully, this will be the 'punch in the stomach' that will wake him up to realize that he has to make his own way in life. Good luck, D-Mo. I sincerely hope it works out well for you in the end.

Even though I hate that we've lost a great player and as much as I love Vols football..It looks like Morley decided his personal life was more important at the moment. I'm not going to fault him for that. I think it shows a great deal of character for him to put the birth of his child before a football practice. So many players wouldn't and haven't done so. I wish him the best of luck, now its time for the Vols to rub some dirt on it and keep working hard. We'll be okay without him!

Sounds to me like CLK is just "separating the stove wood from the kindling"

Get rid of the flash in the pan dead wood and spend the time with players who have the heart and discipline to be worth coaching.

We've put up with delinquents, social misfits and reprobates wasting Orange Jerseys far, far too long.

I'm not sure being late for practices makes you a delinquent, social misfit, or reprobate (really?) especially when it's a guy who might already be going over the edge to keep his grades up (has already earned his second chance) but also now has a kid and is trying to help take care of him too...

Either way. guy's gone.

Some more of this though and I might start to question whether kiffin is cut happy or not.
