Rumor from a month ago - not a good sign that it's still going.

Was mentioned by Hubbs and Co. last month that Morley has been warned to take care of academics.

If he's been "warned" about not going to class, and the rumor is still floating around, then something tells me he might not be going to class. Old habits die hard.

Like I said before in the other thread, this reminds me of the Duke/Ramar situation. Rumors were abound months before they actually got kicked off.

And Hubbs said then that Morley was WARNED about not going to classes.

Does this mean he has been skipping class? Surely he has learned his lesson after what he has been through. At least he said he had. If he can go to P. State and work at the same time to keep his grades up, you would think he could do it now, considering he has been given a scholarship and a second chance at UT.

he cannot be that lame. after his speech about learning his lesson yada-yada. I hope it is just a rumor being passed along by naysayers.

Brent Hubbs says it's BS. Says the coaches have said that Morley has done well academically and will be on the field tomorrow for the start of practice.

He worked like heck to get through Pellissippi State. I can't understand how he'd give it all up before even getting to suit up this season.

I'm going to guess he is giving it up the same way he gave it up the first time. If you can't pass bowling then you really shouldn't be in college.

Will someone PLEASE lock this thread and throw away the key!! Brent even said he was told that Morley is doing just fine academically.

I believe VQ just locked that thread I was talking about. Is that common on message boards when the story is a fraud?

If Morley didn't learn his lesson, especially after havin a kid and all the talk, then there is no hope for him. But i believe it's bs and him and EB will become the best safety tandem in the country

I talked with a friend that is inside the athletic department. He says he has only heard positive things both on and off the field about D Mo. Take it for what it's worth.
