Wow, that's a really dumb thing to post. Whether he meant it literally or not, that's just a bad look and now that it's on the web it will never go away.

Assuming he was kidding, I wonder what made him specifically mention Malchow's name? That seems strange. Most people outside of die hard Georgia fans don't even know who that is. You just can't do crap like that. Without meaning to, you can stain someone's professional reputation that way. If I was Malchow, I would be pi$$ed.

Interesting he names a specific person. Even joking, this has real bad optics.

Yes, five star recruits often get paid cash to sign or they get an expensive car. That's certainly not unusual but what is unusual is someone being employed by the University directly paying the recruit. This is sloppy by Georgia if it's true. The last team that was this sloppy was Ole Miss and we know what happened to them. 😊

I'm assuming it was a metaphor or something. If he really got paid he couldn't be stupid enough to tweet it could he?

It feeds an already existing suspicion... most people had him pegged for LSU, who has had some great backs recently in their own right. This was incredibly dumb.
Wasn’t there pictures of Bama recruits waiving wads or cash not long ago? It’s all dumb but nothing ever happens.

Probably, I do remember a guy at USC talking to TMZ back when Pete Carroll was there and flashing some Benjamin's when asked what he liked most about being a Trojan. The difference here is that a specific name was mentioned as a bag man. Why do that?

Reports are that the University of Georgia's Office of Admissions has opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his admission to the school. One employee was overheard saying "If he was dumb enough to tweet that ain't no way he got anything more than his name right on the ACT."
