LMAO. The beauty of this will be when they are hit with no tv, no postseason probations.

USC sr. like Bammer is seemingly exempt from serious NCAA penalties irrespective of their comisions or omissons. USC sr. is the western posterchild for walking the fine line of NCAA Rule obedience/violation. It is all nothing new, they are bullet-proof with the NCAA. Even if they stepped 10 feet over the line, any NCAA penalty would likely amount to nothing more than a "wrist-slap" and a forceful command of; "now don't do that again Petey".

If that happens, it will be devastating for them as far revenue and recruiting. It would take them a few years to climb out of a hole like that, IMO.

What proof do u have that the NCAA plays favorites with USC? None, it's just jealously because they are very good.

Yeah, and an ocean of money is suddenly going to come and wash away the national debt and Al Qaeda is going to apologize for their transgressions and lay down their arms. I am always amazed at how far removed from reality our fans are.

well, Saint O is trying to start discussions with Al Q as I type. Maybe it's not so far fetched.

Who am I kidding, Al Q is laughing at us just as Carroll is the NCAA.

By the way, this would be an absolutely stupid reason to hammer a program and ain't happening.

You're right Hat. The Pope will likely become a Baptist before USC sr., suffers any serious penalties.

Loss of a scholarship or two for a couple of years. The NCAA isn't going to hammer them or anyone else harshly for this infraction.

Has the NCAA just forgotten about the Bush and Mayo problems?

Wonder if anyone thinks those might be serious violations?:dunno:

Nothing will happen to the cash cow which is U$C--watch.

NO, just a little verbal scolding. They will get a pass like the "Red Elephants" have. Then the NCAA, to cover their tracks and image, will go after another less visible rules offender.

NCAA & the PAC-10 knows if they pound USC, then the PAC-10 becomes even more irrelevant. Even worse they would risk losing market share in the second biggest TV market in the country. Everyone knows LA'ers are bandwagon fans. If USC goes down it will affect ratings. Ratings=Cash.
