If Stephen wanted to coach, I'm sure he was planning on starting out at Tennessee under is dad. Tough situation for the whole family, but that is life.

Bruce and Steven have been two of the most hated people in Knoxville the past year. I understand that Steven sucks at free throws and has limited offensive skills, but he played 10 times harder than almost all of the significantly more gifted players on the team. For that I'm grateful and am sorry I ever cracked a joke about him being a detriment to the team. Fact is, he was definitely an asset compared to the rest of the loafing bunch of sissies on that team.

As for Bruce, he screwed up really bad. I hate that he did something so stupid, but I don't hate him personally. Lying is unacceptable, and he shouldn't have done it, but that's not a reason to hate somebody the way BP is hated.

Steven, good luck in your future. Be there for your Dad.

Bruce, learn from this and make history at another program once you're off suspension.

Maybe Rucker can get an interview with Brandy and see if she thinks Bruce should be fired.

Did you read the article? Why would he not write it?

You have this picture in your mind that he's doing everything he can to support pearl. He's doing his job and covering the Vols. He's telling interesting stories. He is probably better at his job than you are yours. Unless of course your job is hatvol shill.

He didn't commit a crime, he broke a rule. He may lose a job, but he's not going to jail. There is a difference.

Look, I don't care to see some of that stuff. But, all Rucker has done during this situation is write unbelievably pro-Pearl stuff like that. I'd at least like to see him write something that at least presents why it might not be a good idea to keep Pearl. But, I don't expect it.

Rucker really has been pro-pearl. I don't care but he's always seemed like a "stay in the middle guy" and I think if he did his job as a reporter/writer, maybe some people would understand better and wouldn't look like idiots on facebook.

How can you bash Rucker right now? The guy is doing his job. Don't you think for the past 6 months he wrote about why they shouldn't keep Pearl? His points of view are different and intriguing and make me want to read his articles. The guy can write and is definitely nonbias so anyone saying otherwise can shut up. I'm going to school to do the exact thing he does so I may have a different standpoint but the guy can report at a top notch level.

He's a decent writer. He's shown absolutely no objectivity through this situation. Overall, he's been a Hell of a lot better than Softball Griffith. I readily concede that.

That is 100% correct. The interview with Hamilton was taped on tuesday. It aired on wednesday at 3 PM. The headline was leaked much earlier to Mr.SEC and tweeted by others. It was not an ill timed interview it was an intentionally timed interview. The Knoxville media used it to drive hits and gain listenership, which is their job, tasteless as it seems.

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read on a message board. The Knoxville media are hyenas. Take a look around the sec if you want biased media. I've heard an auburn writer cry on the radio over the cam situation.

Why would Rucker write the same story that 50 national guys wrote? He has access to the players, something the national guys won't take the time for.

He did his job and he did it well. It just didn't fit your agenda.
