To fail to acknowledge there are negative effects of climate change is the same as sticking your head in the sand. In 1960 during the summer, the polar ice cap would retreat to approx 10 miles from the shore of teh Canadian border. In the summer of 2007 it was measured to be over 200 miles. I am not going to argue with anyone over the causes, but this should be of real concern to all of us.

climate change is one thing. To blame it on the activities of man is another. I don't doubt that climate change has occurred. I just don't believe that man's activities contribute in any significant way.

Coldest winter in years here.

I wish this global warming would hurry up and kick in.

This was actually a pretty typical winter forty years ago. Funny that it seems so cold now... Almost like it's been generally warmer the last few years.:whistling:
