More Proof Ramar Not Good Pt Guard

Howell has only made 3 trips to the free throw line since the Florida game in Knoxville (and he's 1-3). What good is a PG if he can't hit an outside shot or go to the line and make free throws?

i guarantee you right now he is pondering what to do in ncaa tourney with his lack of pg productivity.

I'm sure he is, too. But I bet it's more "How can I gameplan to help Ramar and Jordan" or "How can I get these guys to play a little better?" instead of "Maybe Brian Williams can play point."

I have absolutely no idea why, and I'm sure I will get ridiculed for this, but I have a strange feeling Howell will play awful until the Elite 8, (assuming they get there) and all of a sudden he will catch fire against a superior defensive team, and the whole board will wonder what the **** happened.

If Jordan Howell does that, I'll marry him.

Do you guys remember DJ Augustin and AJ Abrams tearing us up? Kansas and UCLA's backcourt will do that times 100. The main thing right now is that Howell can't do anything right. He can't knock down FT's, he can't play defense, and can't shoot. Usually if someone is struggling they can help out in other areas, but Howell is struggling in every area. Saying that, he's the only option we have right now and we'll have to live with him, there's no backup plan

I would love to see B-Dub run the point. That would be some entertainment. I think he would pass out before half time though.

those backcourts are no better than TX's. In fact, offensively, TX has the best backcourt in the country.

a starting PG in the SEC should be able to hit atleast half of his FTs...plus Ramar is a shoot first PG and thats def. not what we need...we have to many other scorers for ramar to be driving in and thrown junk up...

Ramar is a career 64.5% FT shooter. I think for his game, he needs to be at 75%.

Hey, enough blame to go around (like Chism's dunk misses and Lofton missing two FT's down the stretch). Plus, Arkansas played a tremendous game. Smith and Howell have lead us to 29 W's, the most on school history so we play with what got us here.

We will be OK in the NCAA tourney until we run into a big inside offensive threat, like North Carolina's Tyler H. My prediction: Elite Eight or Final Four depending on the brackets.

Chism and Lofton put up good numbers game in and game out tho....
