More:

Last year we had a pretty good idea of what to expect going into the O&W/Season (or at least we thought so).

This year there are questions to be answered all over the place. QB, RB depth, DE, DT depth, CBs 1 & 2, PR, OTs, C, OLB, WRs 2-4, etc.

And then we have about 5 new coaches, potentially a 6th with the new rule. How will this and new talent affect the play calling/schemes.

Finally, I'm looking for a bounce back on several fronts to include penalties, turnovers and those bloody injuries!

I look forward to it every year , Just getting to see my Kids running around on the Feild , pretending to score touchdowns is worth the 6 hour ride!!! Can't wait to be there next Saturday!!

All the closed practices and limited information has me less interested. Not interested in going to or seeing the game either. Just waiting on fall when the real season starts.

I agree with the other poster saying there is little interest in seeing circle of life tussles or passing contests throwing towards a barrel.

How can you not be more interested with the new QBs, new coaches and some key players gone.

I don't understand the concept of less interested.

I've yet to lose interest in the Vols.

Over the years it seems my interest for the Vols has grown.

Why would 2017 be any different?

121 is gonna put on a show. I want to be at the show every chance I get.

We don't get that many chances to watch the football team in action, I'll be there if I can.

Release the Beast!

Butch Jones is still the coach....so my interest in UT Football is nearing a Dooley-esque low. Flame away

Just wondering what the pulse is of Vol Nation right now going into our annual Orange & White game vs our 2016 O&W game?

First, has there been any confirmation that it will indeed be a game? Like a real football game with two teams trying to outscore each other? 11 on 11? Normal, standard scoring for a football game?

If Butch continues with this silly circus he's been doing every spring and calling it a "game," then I have the same interest I've had every year...zero.

About the same, always interested, wanna see the boys out there running and playing a little bit, I'll take what I can get. Just take it for what it is, which is largely meaningless in the grand scheme of things

Its a chance for a bunch of us guys to get together for the weekend, talk Vols and family, play golf and enjoy being around each other. Do it every year. I am interested to see how the QB situation looks and will enjoy being in Neyland. Every one of these guys knows and understands the game, are very classy, well educated men and some played at a fairly high level with one child of the bunch currently being on staff with the Vols but I can understand how a marginal fan would have no interest though.

Well, for about the 36th year in a row, I will not be making the O&W game. Last year I considered it for at this time last year, I was more pumped for the Fall. Like many of you here mentioned though, our QB competition could pump some life into VN.

And hey, many of us had very high hopes for Dobbs last season - kind of like we did with PMs last season. Who knows, maybe one of our unheralded QBs turns out to be a Tee Martin. You don't know??!!! :D
