More on Benghazi

The decision to bring al-Imam to the U.S. shows the Trump administration is continuing to prosecute terrorism suspects in civilian courts, even as Sessions and Trump have said such suspects should instead be held at the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Actually it shows what tRump has done sense taking office, playing to his base and tossing the red meat.

Didn’t Obama close Gitmo?

hopefully.

What I want to know is why that vermin is going to be afforded the protections of the US Constitution. A laughing stock we are.

He should just be hanged out in the Yemeni desert somewhere. No fanfare. No announcement. Just dead.

I agree that the POS should be tortured and done away with asap. I could shove a hot poker up his ass myself.

But, the way we do things separates "us" from "them". If we provide him with an attorney and a fair trial then kill him our methods and his death should not be challenged.

OK having said that let's kill the bastard.

P.S. Why is Dzhokhar Tsarnaev still alive?

Agreed. I told the wife when it happened that this is what I thought was the underlying cause.

Told the wife, eh? Are you an intelligence officer in the Mideast? Do business over there? In the spy game?

A diplomatic compound was attacked and four people killed. Of course there were mistakes or errant assumptions. Americans are killed regularly in foreign countries because things go wrong. That's a far cry from spending years trying to spin a tragedy into some idiotic conspiracy just to tar Clinton. It's the usual sort of conservative propaganda and dishonesty. We just had four soldiers killed in Niger. Obviously, mistakes were made. Maybe we should have congressional hearings for five years and try to pin some sort of conspiracy on Big T. Rex at State--what IS he hiding?

The Marine barracks in Beirut being a prime example.

Right out of the gate Obama and team was dishonest and lied about what prompted the attacks. Do you agree or disagree?

Gowdy, Benghazi panel settled wrongful firing suit with $150,000 in public funds - The Washington Post

In a list provided to the House Committee on Administration, the OOC disclosed it oversaw one $150,000 settlement involving a claim of veteran status discrimination and retaliation in the last five years. Podliska, in addition to claiming he was fired for his refusal to focus on Clinton, alleged retaliation by his supervisors because he took leave to fulfill his obligations as an Air Force reservist.

Well, so much for a run for national office by Gowdy.
