You never really know exactly how tall a player is until the combine though. Colleges don't exactly take the most care at nailing down the heights and putting them online.

Wow I guess I am in minority. I like Dobbs, but I never had a notion that he would be in the NFL at all. It is proven you have to throw to be in the NFL and he can't even throw well in college. I know he is fast and can run, but so could Vince Young, Tim Tebow, and Tommy Frazier. I just don't even see a chance of him being an NFL quarterback. Hope I am wrong.

It's why we struggled today. He becomes a better passer when he is a running threat. Coaches wanted to limit his hits as he is banged up. End result is what you saw today

Vince Young and Tim Tebow were both first round picks. That doesn't make them great NFL QBs, but they were intriguing enough as prospects to be high picks. I don't believe Dobbs would pan out in the NFL, but I do think he is capable of being a mid or late round pick based on his running ability and intelligence. He's not going to enter the draft this year, so let's see if he can improve during the offseason.

SMH. Completely unbelievable. Yep, he can't throw the ball because we didn't let him run. Dumbest post I've seen in a very long time.

He may be intelligent, but his passing instincts are bad.
