Jerry Hinnen is an Alabama homer. He's not likely to say anything positive about UT or our coach.

This.....except Hinnen is an Auburn guy. He handles some blogs for the "War Eagle Reader". You're right though.....this is an Auburn fan taking a shot at a another SEC school.

Take solace in the fact that by this time next month, we will hopefully be hearing about the NCAA deep inside Auburn's books.

GBO!

Our stadium is twice the size of Mississippi State's ... and our problems have little to do with Dooley, IMO

I'm with you there.
However, I think it is BS that we dropped North Carolina in favor of BUffalo. Nothing against the herd, but for heaven's sake, we are used to bringing in at least one top team and two fairly decent teams. This year, there are three (yep, three) ****ty non conference games. That's almost half the home games. I'm not buying season tickets. No way. I will scalp them for $5 and save my money for the away games that are bigger.

I can understand the feeling that we need to schedule patsies in order to get to a bowl game. But, I don't really care about one game when the regular season is all it's about anyway. I say, schedule the Oklahoma's and Texas's and big teams like that. I'm sure it's easier said than done, but I don't lay awake at night dreaming about beating Buffalo, or Cincinnati or Memphis. At least give me one game against a top non conference foe like California, so i can cheer "S-E-C. S-E-C!" early in the third quarter. Yeah, that was one of my favorite non-conference moments.

I ain't cheering that against Buffalo. Maybe "G-T-F-O! G-T-F-O!"

You should be delighted to know, then, that future nonconference opponents for Tennessee include Oregon in 2013, Oklahoma in 2014 and 2015, Nebraska in 2016 and 2017, Ohio State in 2018 and 2019, and USC, tentatively, in 2021 and 2022 (Tennessee Volunteers Football Schedules and Future Schedules ).

They also included North Carolina but it was not written in blood. We'll see. I think it would be an even bigger PR fail if they opt out of any of those.

Selling out season tickets has nothing to do with a Coach... It probably has a lot to do with our old Dumba** AD that decides to raise the prices every year and then leaves... And probably to do with wins... Coach really doesn't have much to do with selling out season tickets.. smh..
