DT John Brown has re affirmed his commitment to THE VOLS. :) He's waiting to speak with CDD to be reassured. 4* from Mississippi CC that was originally committed to Florida.

Fulton is staying too. Says he is 100% Vols as many have stated. He's already spoken to Chaney to confirm this.

The Ambles family is waiting for CDD and staff to reach out to him this week after his visit to NC over the wkd.

Also the coaching staff is reaching out to Rajaan Bennett, a 5'11" 200lb RB from Powder Springs, Ga.

4* Safety Eddrick Loften has decommitted from Oklahoma after their coaching staff asked him not to visit KTown. He visited with Dooley this wkd and plans to close out his visits with Kansas before Feb. 3

Things aren't as bad as they seemed to be. :)

Yeah, great news all around...would be upset if we lost Ambles, but if we can keep Thompkins, won't be that bad..Bennett and Loften would be BIG gets, both are quality. I was one of those who thought the sky would surely fall after the Lame Train left town, but props to Hamilton and CDD for righting the ship...GBO

Who all is missing from our original commitments? Ralph Williams, Ambles, Palardy and Thompkins. I think that is all.

I read somewhere on VN today that Dooley didn't meet with any recruits. It seemed odd. The explanation given was something about petitioning the NCAA for more official visits and might not be able to do so if a certain percentage of official visits had already been used. Doesn't make sense. Can anybody shed light on it?

Coach Dooley (who knows the rules better than X could ever hope to) is applying for more Official visit permissions from the NCAA. There has to be less than 75% of your visits used up for it to go through. That's why he hasn't met with recruits.

So if that's the case, why did the OP say CDD met with one of the recruits?

I suppose he's mistaken. There's a cool place not too far away from here called the recruiting forum if you want more details about that. But I gotta warn you... It's a madhouse.

Palardy is all vol...

Palardy all Vol

That was a couple days ago... Supposedly there's some more recent info on his commitment. Not sure what's going on, but supposedly he's waiving a little. I don't know exactly. Check his recruit thread, it explains it in there.

It said that Loften visited Dooley this weekend and not the other way around. It must have something to do with CDD visiting recruits in their house or something from what I remember. The forum for CDD and the 75% thing is in the recruiting forum from today. Don't remember what it said but by Loften visiting CDD it must make some kind of difference. I wouldn't think when recruits are on campus that the Head Coach wouldn't be able to talk to them. That would be ridiculous I would think.

If DD can pull this one of it would be huge.
