Didn't see this already posted: ESPN also has us back in their Bowl Projections, but it's in crazy places:

Schlabach has us in the Little Caesars vs. Northern Ill. and Adelson has us in the Las Vegas bowl vs. Utah.

I know that if the regular conf. tie-ins are not available bowls can pick others down their list, but I had no idea that the SEC ever sent anyone to those games.

ya i was also a little confused on how little caesars could even be an option because we are in neither the MAC or the Big Ten?

How is that even possible?

I know, right? That was my major question here too. I do realize we still have to win out for it to be an issue, and KY is a considerable hurdle that is in no way guaranteed (but Vandy is still, well, Vandy...). So, if we were to be eligible, how would we not roll to the Liberty or Independance or whatever that game is in Birmingham, but instead go someplace crazy?

With you on that. KY wants to beat UT bad... so does Vandy for that matter.

Hope we aren't over looking Vandy for the KY game. I agree both could be hard fought games, especially the Commiedores

IF we win out, we could be playing in Nashville per Scout.com bowl projections:

December 30, 2010 Nashville, TN
Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl 6:30 pm ESPN
ACC No. 6 vs. SEC No. 7
Projection: Clemson vs. Tennessee

What happens if Ga. Tech beats Georgia? Do we get the #6 spot and play on New Years Eve again? as Georgia wouldn't be bowl eligible..:

December 31, 2010 Memphis, TN
AutoZone Liberty Bowl 3:30 pm ESPN
C-USA No. 1 vs. SEC No. 6 or No. 7 (Big East if no SEC team)
Projection: UCF vs. Georgia

either way, we may not leave the state...

I still think our last two games will be tough; our defense has yet to prove it can stop a good offense - Ole Miss practically beat themselves with their concussed QB and inept coaching.

That said, please let the Vols play a bowl game in Vegas. I could actually go to that one.

Tech will not beat the Dawgs in Athens! Vols better worry about the last two games.....especially Kentucky!! Don't count your chickens...........:pimp_2:

If Va. Tech -- a team that lost to James Madison --is in a BCS bowl then I will start the formal petition to take the auto BCS bid away from the ACC. Cosigners?
