Here they won't let people sit inside a restaurant in close proximity to other diners. So, many of the restaurants have built temporary covered seating areas outside on the curb where cars used to be able to park. Evidently, it's okay for the people to sit inside these temporary enclosures in close proximity to other diners, except now they are seated a few inches away from cars driving past and they have to keep their coats on to keep from freezing while they eat.

Nonsense.

Agree. Also I just can’t get excited about anyone being injured or sick regardless.

It's funny to watch how business and industry instantly learned to navigate around the rules. It's hilarious to shake your head at one one hand, but sobering to watch the tyranny take people's careers or force them into a moral dilemmas against their conscience.

Honestly I would argue who cares anyways? It’s Purdue in the Music City Bowl. I mean maybe the players care more than I think but it’s hard to think of this game as any kind of reward on a good season. JMO though.

Weinke had been out the last month of the season, and his backup beat then #4 Spurrier led Florida and a potential rematch in the NCG nobody wanted any part of.

Trying to claim a bowl win matters against a COVID/opt out depleted team reminds me of "Drunk Florida" in that SEC Short......

I agree I'd rather beat a team straight up, both at full strength. But at this point....we just need a bowl win. Period. No one will remember in 2 weeks who played and who didn't, they will simply know Heupel came into a Fulmer/Slingblade dumpster-fire mess and pulled out an 8 win season with a bowl win in his first year. We NEED that narrative. At this point, if Purdue has to have players play both platoons, I don't care - I just want the W.

Yeah. Which highlights that neither team is representative of who they were in regular season.

That's why placing any emphasis at all on a post season bowl that isn't the CFP as anything more than a fun game, nice road trip reward for the guys is iffy.

It'll be fun to watch but I don't look for either team to "show out" and "create a recruiting buzz" or whatever. Just a fun game.

At this point in the season, that is all it means. A win. And a win is huge for UT regardless of why Purdue loses. Just win.

To my knowledge, everybody thats sitting out bowl games not because of Covid are doing it for hopes of NFL. Nothing says winner like playing all year then sitting out the championship game, (albeit, Bowl Champion) but yeah buddy, "sitting on my team"says "you need me" to pro scouts, yessssiirrreeee bob.
