I don't think it's fair to put CFA with Jordan. There's not much of a sample size of CFA. I think Jordan could be a 1k rusher behind a good run OL. He's a hard runner moreso than Chandler but he lacks the speed and shiftiness that Chandler produces. Jordan also tries to bounce it too much imo. Right now, Chandler is our best back but he would be extremely effective if we had a complimentary big back to pound the rock. Similar to Chubb/Michel.
Banks has the potential to be the pounder if he puts on more weight. It's a good strategy to use a big bruiser type late in games when opponents linemen start getting fatiqued. I still like the old school type of formation ......"I"formation with a fullback. Just don't see many teams using it these days.

Pretty sure I remember reading the main reason he chose us over Clemson is Pruitt promised him he could play LB. Clemson wanted him for RB.

I'm sure Ill be corrected if I'm wrong in 3 2 1.....
whatever the kid wants - :)

CFA looks like a beast now, with his burst and hip moves, he can be special.

Middleton has the tools, hope it shows on the field. Saw him play in high school, and he was molasses slow, maybe the light has turned on for him.

Off topic...but it was a critical mistake firing Fulmer. It sent in motion a maelstrom of bad things that a decade later we still haven't recovered from. Oh..but we couldn't tolerate one bad season...so we had to have a bunch of bad seasons and still trying to desperately get ourselves out of this hole. Fulmer should have remained the coach...the face of the team. Paterno and Bowden weren't doing game day xs and os...but their presence on the sideline was vital to recruiting and continued success. Its just a shame how things have just gotten so bad since Fulmer was the coach. Go Vols....I pray we can get out of this and back to where we belong.

I love the excitement but the other side to the story is if these guys aren't ready they are going to get pushed around. I've seen a lot of big guys get their ass kicked in the sec. 🤞🏾hopefully we ready. This offseason joy drives me crazy 31 days need to hurry.
i'd say we're experts ont he other side of the story at this point. not sure why we need the reminders.

if you're looking to not get pushed around anymore, step one is get bigger.............no?

Yeah def off topic, why don’t you try staying on topic instead of rehashing this narrative and hijacking the thread, good lord.

Agreed. And I understand CJP has pursued a cutting edge approach to this, employing someone called a S&C Coach. This person actually schedules and enforces workouts and conditioning.

Why wasn't Lyle ever made aware of this amazing innovation??????

I always look at a football player's S&C progress in their calves. Middleton is starting to get them, you rarely see a Bama player on the field without them. Middleton going in the correct direction is a good thing.

Fulmer is responsible for the poor condition of the program as much or more than anyone.

You are correct sir about the weight gain. I just want to see them actually handle business first instead of getting excited about a kid eating 3 burgers for breakfast. Is that ok with you?
