Hypothetically speaking, if America was invaded and defeated by a foreign power/s and was under foreign occupation you would want to fight back yes? How could we force the occupation to end if striking military personnel and infrastructure is off limits in your mind? Just look through out our history;

The French Resistance used sabotage, guerrilla, and assassinations of German officers in occupied France.

Polish resistance groups played in a key roles in providing intelligence to the Allies, saving Jews from the Holocaust, and disrupting the German occupation.

Hell Tito's Partisans basically liberated the entire country of Yugoslavia from the Germans. While also rescuing Allied personnel.

If you want more modern examples of successful resistance movements just look at the Mujahideen against the Soviets or the NLF in Vietnam. How could any of these organizations have been successful if they didn't engage and kill the occupiers?

Emain, I'm not getting anything from bell. I live here, I've personally been involved in the process. Your only response to me has been "you're just copying ". Its weak and makes it painfully obvious that you have no real response to the issues. You're just another person shouting "intolerance" because someone dare have questions or concerns about the mosque and its leadership.
I say again, when a senior member of the mosque is posting praise for terrorist organizations like Hamas and supporting their extremist ideas, we have every right to be concerned. If the icm wanted to show the community they will not tolerate it, they would have severed ties with him. Instead he was suspended for a few weeks or whatever it was, and reinstated. Its concerning that they someone in a position of leadership and influence with extremist ideas. But I'm sure you will avoid this as you have the entire time.

My source, btw, was Quran.com. Go ahead and try to shoot it down and then post another Pamela Gellar link, even though the gist is the same with both your translation and mine.

I also used the word "translation" when I meant "interpretation." Whoever wrote the moronic blog you posted decided to reach quite a bit in his interpretation of the verse in question.

emainvol - I want to get to the bottom of your beef with EAB. I inquired if you could point out untruths by Bell and you referred me back to your previous posts in this thread. I want to keep my mind open about Bell and this mosque issue because I don't want to rely upon facts if the facts are untrue. I think that we all form our opinions based upon an evaluation of facts. So I reviewed your posts and it looks like your only specific example was not an untruth, but a "mischaracterization" by Bell - of a "Teacher's Guide" sent to the Board of Education. It appears that you take issue with Bell stating that the Guide was a "demand" by islamic leadership. So I reviewed the handout or whatever it is that was sent to the board and here's what I found:

1) Since we are focusing on semantics such as the word "demand," I took a look at the "Teacher's Guide" to examine the script for the purpose of determining whether there are actual "demands" in the document. I found the following terms: must, "are always to be," required, should, prescribes, may not, should not, should be, should have, must be fulfilled, requirements, prescribes, prohibits, should be no.

2) Here is some context from the Guide:

-To achieve this peace one must follow God's guidance and commandments.

-Islam prescribes that both men and women behave and dress modestly

- Men and boys are always to be covered from the navel to the knee in public.

- Muslim females are required to wear loose-fitting and non-revealing clothing which includes a head covering.

- Attention: During the prayer, Muslims are fully engaged and they may not respond to a conversation. Students and teachers should not take offense of the worshiper not answering their call. However, in case of an emergency, the Muslim will respond to an announcement by stopping the prayer immediately.

- Muslim boys and girls may not take same-sex communal after-sports showers without wearing appropriate covering on their bodies.

-Muslim students should not be forced to participate in joined swimming classes.

- In Islam, Friday is the day for the congregational worship, called Jumaha. It is an obligation that must be fulfilled, and it lasts about one hour.

- Textbooks that contribute to religious prejudice are not suitable.

- Qualified Muslim educators should participate in the textbook selection process, particularly for history, social studies and geography texts.

3) It appears that it is Bell's opinion that this Guide was making "demands." from the above quoted parts of the Guide, there is a valid argument that this could be considered a demand. It also appears that it is your opinion that this Guide is not making "demands." There is an argument for that too.

4) However, what I am looking for is an indisputable untruth by Bell. Not a dispute over whether his opinion is right or wrong but whether some fact that he has alleged is correct or incorrect.

Is there something else that Bell has said?

Yet they show you no proof of their accusations. A link to support the accusation something. People like that love to make their point by making crap up and assuming you're going to believe every word they type. It's paranoia. There hasn't been one attack on American soil since 9/11. If they think the govt doesn't have someone on the inside when this mosque opens up somethings wrong. Jack Bauer is alive and well and taking care of business. People need to relax.

Yes, there are. As I said, his work consistently falls into three categories. I gave you a glaring example of one and told you, and I will hold to this, that I am not going into specifics about an ongoing situation out of respect for those involved. It really doesn't matter to me if you believe me or not, but the guy is a flat out liar.


As the Rutherford Country Board of Education said in another link I posted, they receive things like the newsletter all the time, and they don't feel that these are demands. They do what they can to accommodate people of different faiths and receive things like this often. Their words, not mine. Look at the entry about prayer when the student "may not respond" and teachers and students "should not be offended." What is wrong with that? It takes an enormous stretch to look at that as some kind of demand, and if the school board doesn't feel that they are demands, why should we?

Here's something interesting about Eric Allen Bell that gets some play, but not enough if you ask me. He changed sides in the middle of this controversy. That's right, he was originally pro-Muslim and pro-Mosque. Now he has conveniently done a complete 180. Interesting anecdote about Bell when he first came on the scene as a mosque reporter. I have been looking for this for a while and finally found it, and while the source may be a bit shaky, it's the same kind of crap that other people post on here so I think it's fair.

Making it up? Lol where have you been? Rawash's pro extremist posts online are fact and well known. You say people like to "make crap up", well people also like to talk about things they clearly have no clue about.
