So, in the press conference with Coach Kiff on Saturday, he said Monte would be here a couple days after Tampa's last game of the season.

Tampa lost to San Diego today and they will probably beat Oakland next week. If so, are they playoff bound? Or will we be seeing Monte at UT a couple days after the Oakland game??

The Oakland game will be their last.

TB's chances for the post season now are somewhat dependent on what happens to other NFC teams in the playoff race. The Buc's season could end in a week. Even if they get in, my guess is that any playoff run would be short lived... they aren't playing particularly great football right now.

If the cowboys win then tampa is out. If the cowboys lose and they win then tampa is in. If the cowboys lose and tampa loses then it goes into a big series of tie-brakers with the possibility of the eagles going. It all depends on what Dallas does. Trust me I'm a huge Cowboys fan so I will be watching that game with much interest. It would be best for me to have Dallas win and then Monte could just go ahead and start recruiting the Florida area.

There is only 1 wild card spot remaining in the NFC.

Its still possible for the bucs to get in but they will need help. Todays loss hurt their chances.

Hate it for the Bucs but the earlier Monte shows up the better our chances are for some surprise recruits.

What a turnaround by my Atlanta Falcons! No one picked them to win more than five games and several said they would win one game. Wow, writers are sharp, eh? The Falcons have a new GM that knows what he is doing and ain't it funny how the Falcons did not have any recievers until Ryan shows up and Roddy White is a pro-bowler. Guess the Falcons never had a QB. Coach Mike Smith has been great, Now, if Kiff could just bring a QB in like Matt Ryan, he will, just give him time!

To be fair, Roddy and Jenkins have both been improving the past couple years. They both just kept dropping it, even when Vick did get it to them.

But yeah, great turnaround with a good OL and running game, and a solid D.
