Nah I won't serve ya any...you won't find anyone as skeptical as I am. I just put on here that I saw it on ESPN classic...but inside I was waiting to hear it straight from Monte's mouth before I was completely sold.

UT should dominate this year in defensive recruiting. With Monte and maybe Coach O and Steele, they should sign any top defensive recruit in the south.

I feel 1000 times better about hiring Lane. I don't think Tennessee could have made a better hire. Monte is better than any recruit we'll pick up.

The crowd at Neyland seems to get excited about defense and special teams much easier than offense. I can not wait until we start shutting down teams with defense and crowd noise. I hope we make it a hell hole for other teams when Monte gets here.

Their D had 3 TO's and 4 sacks and only allowed 13 points with an overtime peroid. I think they played pretty well. The blocked punt by their special teams put them in position to score but the offense did nothing and in fact went backwards. The offense lost the game, not the D.

This is great news, make that fantastic news. A top NFL defensive coordinator prowling the sidelines in the SEC... and he's ours.

Its going to be a different feeling now going up against the great coaches. I liked Chavis, but I can't remember ever feeling like the Vols had a big advantage in the coaching matchp - at least against the big time programs. Things have changed, at least on the defensive side of the ball.
