Montana's Stadium is better than ours?...dumb

There is no doubt that Volnation posters are very sensitive. The strange thing is that in person, the fans are totally different they what I see here on for the most part. Very friendly, respectful, empathetic, etc. There are many posters that are great, but they tend to be overshadowed by the other folk. I dont see that on other message boards. Egriz posters are pretty much the same outside at the game as they are on the boards; good & bad.

I for one like to kid a lot but it's all in good fun...I respect any fan who pulls for a team that isn't a perennial powerhouse, and represents their team thru the good and bad...goodluck this weekend...we all love football so lets have fun and watch a good injury free game :peace2:

GBO!

The welcome to montezuela sign reads something like this..

"Welcome to Montezuela"
Don't let the sun go down on ur whooly ***

Guess that means you didnt read the thread where dozens of people have said WaGriz is louder than many FBS stadiums including SEC stadiums....that comes from the coaches, players, and announcers....many who are on the field. I will comment no further, but lets just see how many more pages we can get.
At least you're entertaining.

You will get plenty and I believe that is the third time you have posted that on VN. We gotcha!

Posting something that stupid what did you expect? Seems like yall are getting all bent out of shape because all of you know you will be taking a Loss and your not used to that playing the likes of Sacramento State.

I actually read it the other way. UT fans are very much anti-MT...almost like a rivalry game on this board. Logically that is because there is a lot of people worried about this game, not that they would ever admit it on this board. Thus they bash the little school from Montana. I bet when we look back at the end of this season, we will see that Montana got much more attention than at least half your games. Thats the power of the little guy.

Heck I'm worried a bout this game. This is one of the most talented teams to ever play for Montana based on recruiting, but not sure if they can put it all together as a team. They are capable of winning this game, they won't but a win could happen. I still predict 41-13.

Dozens you say? Well, that settles it.

I don't know about being worried about MT, I mean there's ALOT of unknown to a team when they haven't played a down but MT being able to compete physically I don't see that but we are not over looking your team.

Second, how MT gets more attention than us is outrageous even if you get to the NC and we get a .com bowl we aren't going to be hearing about MT every other day in mainstream media, sorry. Let's be realistic here, the whole deal with the stadium does MT fanbase really think a 25,000 capacity is louder than us?

C'MON MAN.

Ha, Ha. There's almost as many people living in Knox Co as there is in their whole state... pathetic. Here in LA we have more people living in my condo complex than their whole stadium...lol

You say that like it's a good thing. I wish more people would stay out of our state

...and yeah, I hope that original thread was made in jest. Either way, if he was trolling the Vols, he got a 9+ page thread out of it (and counting), so mission accomplished

Wa-Griz beats Neyland, end of story! See why...
by ButteRatGriz » Wed Aug 31, 2011 5:39 pm

Here's why, look at the #s :

Wa-Griz holds 26,000.
Montana has 999,000 people.
=
2.6% of Montana on game day.

Neyland holds 109,000.
Tennessee has 6,346,000
=
1.7% of Tennessee on game day

Seems pretty straight forward to me...math doesn't lie

Uh... yeah except no. They are taking this and running with it on the Montana board. We kind of have the sixth biggest stadium in the world. Thanks for the laughs.

You know how it is, every frog must praise his own pond.

Well at least they will know the words to Rocky Top by the end of the game, cause they are gonna hear it a lot.

Nobody but Montana thinks montana has a better stadium than Tennessee. That's comical in every way. I've lost respect for the fanbase of montana for even allowing such an obnoxious claim to remain.

Who a stadium has hosted is moot. University of north Florida hosted ludacris. Who cares? It doesn't mean one is better.

Oh? So let me get this straight. You believe that I as a Montana Grizzly fan should admit that you have a better stadium? Do you think you SEC opponents admit that you have a better stadium? Better yet have you been in ours so you can past judgement? I've seen one person here say he has, KCVOL, and he actually said overall it was a nice stadium, but compared to Neyland it was not in same class BUT he is a Vol fan. I wouldnt expect him to say otherwise.

I think its funny when people think that fans of one team should admit another team is better at anything. I would never expect that to happen. So yep WaGriz is a better gameday experience IMO than Neyland, but hey its my opinion and I'm a MONTANA GRIZZLY fan!!!

And yes I've been in Neyland..and tailgating..and on and on. All very cool items, and the 2nd best FBS experience I've ever had.

yes - you should admit it is a better stadium than yours - not because it is an opinion, but because it a documented fact.

Difference is other sec teams at least have stadiums that are comparable and on the same level. Miss St doesn't think their stadium is better and vandy doesn't either. You are being obnoxiously unrealistic and its pathetic. You can have a nice stadium but to compare it to neyland is dumb. This conversation happening is a mockery of all top stadiums.
