Montana - Put up or shutup!

I'm pretty sure you could walk up to just about any camp, and they would let you tailgate with them.

You guys are bringing like 30K right? Have your own tailgate party, pard.

I don't care if they bring all of Montana, they're gonna see how tailgating and football is done!!! Knoxville in late summer/fall is pure heaven!!!

Don't be turned off by some Internet tough guys on here. Vol fans are very friendly for the most part in person, especially since you aren't an SEC rival. Just stroll around campus and you'll be invited into just about any tailgate as long as you are cool.

I'm with woodsman on this. I don't know why our fans feel the need to barrage (respectful) opposing teams fans, now trolls and d-bag rival fans are another story. These guys are looking for info on meeting up & having a good time, this "our team will beat your sucky team by 50 points" crap is senseless and stupid.

Actually, I think SeaGriz just had too many brewskies again.

the only thing they'll hate about knoxville is gameday traffic and tailgating when it's 90+ in the parking lots. plus the dolts on here who will act like it's UT-Florida day.

enjoy the sun dresses.

So, who is willing to have a Montana fan stop by?

Let us see your southern hospitality Vol fans.

You know you're welcome to stop by any time, but then you'll have another 12 hour drive to get to Neyland. But, you would get some southern hospitality 15 miles north of the mason dixon line.

SeaGriz,

I have already posted an invite to Montana fans on your Montana board. You and Ordigger, and any other Montana fans are welcome to come by our tailgate for some pulled pork sandwiches. Shoot me a private message and we'll get you lined up.

I love those people. Probably buying up their stock of bear meat as we speak for the tailgating. :dance2:

More than welcome at mine. Of course, mine will be in my backyard in Georgia...and we have a tradition here that the losing fan(s) strip down to their boxers and go buy beer at the corner store after the game.

Might be best if you stick to Knoxville, and take your chances with the Vol Navy.

I'm just sayin'...

Go Vols.

Speaking of food...day games just aren't the same without Sam & Andy's. As a kid it became somewhat of a tradition that dad and I would go there, get a monster sandwich, and grab a seat in the grass and watch the "orange sea" on the strip...GOOD TIMES!

As long as you know there are no livery stables or hitching posts in front of Neyland.

We would also appreciate you washing the horse **** off your cowgirl boots before you enter our sacred stadium

SeaGriz, and any other Montana fans, we always welcome opposing fans at our tailgates. We always have at least a couple different flavors of shine, not to mention a few different brands of whiskey, and we either have it catered or have a major grilling effort, and have cornhole and at least 2 games on the flat screens. Plus we have a motorized cooler that has thrown numerous people over the handlebars... Honestly. Of course it BYOB, but you may not need any. PM me for directions, always welcome visiting fans.

In college a Montana student told me that moose snot was a delicacy in the state. That was back in the very late 1960's I think. Never knew whether to take him seriously or not. Maybe moose drool was the proper accompanying drink according to him if I'd asked.

Moose, by any chance was this guy telling the truth about moose snot?

Haha. Think he was blowing smoke up your hind end on that one. Rocky mountain oysters on the other hand ...

Rocky mountain oysters are delicious when you're snipe hunting too.
