Tuition and Financial Assistance

The costs of experienced, talented and caring faculty, an extensive and progressive curriculum, broad extracurricular programs, and extraordinary facilities are significant. We understand that funding the cost of independent school is a challenge to many families. Our financial assistance programs enable students who might not otherwise have access to independent school education to enroll in The Ensworth School. No qualified student should be deterred from applying to Ensworth based on financial constraints, and families who feel they need assistance are encouraged to apply for aid. Ensworth's tuition for the 2013-2014 year is:

Lower School (P1-5) $18,445 Ancillary Tuition $1,355 Total $19,800
Middle School (6-8) $19,960 Ancillary Tuition $1,700 Total $21,660
High School (9-12) $22,520 Ancillary Tuition $2,845 Total $25,365

With the deterioration of the Nashville Public School system places like Ensworth, MBA, Harpeth Hall, etc won't be going away anytime soon. Personally I don't think its worth it, but there are plenty of parents simply looking to give their kids the best education possible. If parents are willing to pay so much for school it is more a reflection on the dismal quality of the public schools than anything else.

Rumor has it that much of the bond money for one of the Vandy rapists came from Ensworth.

Don't know, but the db (Sheffield?) is a vandie commit CBJ hopes to lure to Knoxville. Watching him on tv tonight, he is a stud with speed.

Donovan Sheffield's (#21) dad played at Vandy. He is a junior who will be quite the catch after next year, as will Rico McGraw (#1), the other Ensworth junior corner/receiver who currently holds offers from numerous SEC schools.
