We offered Gundy 7 million a year. How can we not land a coach for that kind of dough? If we are willing to pay that price for Gundy, just ask your top guy what their number is....

It might not have talked for Gundy but I guarantee you more than a few top coaches eyes got big reading that offer.

Money always talks.

They're going to come out of the woodwork now.

Mark it down.

People can talk all the smack they want to but that moolah walks the walk and all the nonsense the media and others are spewing about people not wanting to come here is rubbish.

Gundy apparently never wanted to leave - he just used us to get a raise. Good on him. Let the marketplace work baby.

I bet agents were blowing up the phones when they saw the offer.

Not a surprise. Curry you idiot, offer to someone that might actually take it!
Or did you offer and know he wouldn’t just so you can say oh well I tried and then hire another little league guy?

Currie did not go in there with no holes barred.

Yep. I think it’s great to be on record for a long term contract at that money level.

Coaches could give a rats ass about all this media hype. Pay. Facilities. Support and recruiting budget to execute the program.
